The Twilight Zone was perhaps television entertainment at it's finest. Oft times lessons in ethics and morality. Concepts that have all but disappeared from the human conscience. And the episodes were usually colored by Sterling's own experiences as a combat veteran of WWII. He understood so well the " human condition ". Now, right now, we badly need this kind of truly educational expression. This is an age of great deception. An age of global lies and vulgarity. And it's growing worse by the day. Where are the Sterlings today? Lost......a dim memory of a more civilized time when men had consciences.

I always felt Rod Serling with from another period in time. This whole monologue fits perfectly with the "The Day The Earth Stood Still" movie from the 50s. After the Hydrogen Bomb was set off in Hiroshima. No one wants mass destruction to any part of the world. If you were to watch this film you will understand what I mean. The alien came to state do not push those boundaries beyond your earth or you'll deal with us!

Mr. Serling's vision was as unclouded as possible. Too bad the message has been distorted and obfuscated.
