Tremendously helpful. I appreciate your slow deliberate pace covering all the bases and I love how you dealt with the hot solder iron heat issue. I also like how you compartmentalized 6 batteries at a time making the process simpler to understand. No missing camera angles, either. making you wonder where that wire went! Thank You!

You could break it up into chapters or provide time stamps in the description, but that is just nitpicking. Great video and I appreciate all the detail. Honestly, I don't know if I will ever build my own battery because small ones are cheap enough and large ones still seem to daunting. However, having a very good understanding of what goes into it will make me a better consumer, so I don't waste my money or endanger my home with a trash battery.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have been wanting to try and build my own pack for a long time but its pretty intimidating, you did an outstanding job of covering everything especially with the camera angles, I can't tell you how many times I've seen videos where they explain stuff but don't show it properly and it was a waste of time watching. Thanks again hope you keep making these great videos!

@@PavelGarmas Do you have any experience with Tattu Lipo batteries? I'm torn between this: www.genstattu.com/ta-25c-14000-6s1p-as150.html#reviews-link Which has 14000mah and 25c or the 12000mah turnigy graphene which is 15c and only 12000mah for slightly more.

This is an awesome video! Thank you. I´m pretty experienced in building batteries, but watched it till the end anyways. I love how you transfer not only the technical knowledge, but also the "spirit" of good designing and engineering, of keeping calm and stay focused, and stuff like that. Thumbs up!

EXCELLENT TUTORIAL IN EASY TO USE AND FOLLOW FOR EVERYONE. A BIG THANKS TO YOU. I have been converting Mountain Bikes to e Mountain Bikes for the last 3 years. I have always been buying high capacity batteries from China. 48V, 32.2 Ah in various shapes to fit into the MTB frames. This is a very detailed instructions. I will be building my own battery packs to form the exact shapes that fits inside my MTB frames.

Finally got round to watching this and it's pretty awesome to be fair mate. I'm not planning on building my own pack soon, but I will be getting one made early next year. This video helped me a lot with little details I wasn't sure about like a suitable BMS. I never really understood BMS' properly at all actually. Now I know for sure a charge only BMS is perfect for what I need and a smart BMS is very much what I need as I'm really interested in monitoring the health of the individual cells. But if I ever do make my own pack, this is the video I will be following. Much respect!
