Darn it. I would have signed up! I love what you share about Sweden! My grandmother was from Sweden and I hope to visit someday. Will definitely be looking back at your videos for the restaurants, sights, and museums you've highlighted on your channel. Thank you for all of your lovely content, Benita!!

I think right now it is difficult for some to put money into patreon, not sure it is a lack of interest. I am very interested in all the fun stuff you vlog about....but being retired means I need to be frugal with every penny. Best of luck to you! I am glad to have found your channel! And I will support you through watching your vlogs and commenting. Happy New Year 2023!

Oh dear that’s a hard decision. It has to be difficult to be a content creator. But please know, as others have said, lack of interest isn’t always the reason. I love your videos and look forward to each one.🙃

Benita, I was absolutely delighted to be taken to eateries, given a most idyllic tour of your country, and offered explanations and stories. You’re a great storyteller, and have a great channel!!! I’ve been here for a long time.🖐 Though I rarely comment, please know I take everything in.

the australia-austria thing happens more often than one would think! my friend, she lives in new york city, sent me a cookie jar some years ago, which never arrived. luckily she‘d sent it by registered mail and she had the post office trace it. well, instead of making it‘s way to me, in Klagenfurt, Austria it got sent to Canberra, Australia. no joke. i never got that cookie jar, it now lives somewhere down under and is hopefully appreciated as the wonderful gift it was meant to be. for me. 🤷🏻 this was by no means the first, nor i’m sure the last time something got shipped to the wrong continent. at least sweden and switzerland are both in europe. thus ended my rant about geographically challenged people. 😉 servus from austria 🇦🇹 (the one with the lederhosen; not a joey in sight), monica 📚🐾🐾
My parents had a Swedish family friend for decades. He came to us when I was just a toddler and wouldn't want to sleep in my bed so my Mom decided to rent it out to guests of the world famous toy fair here in my hometown. So Stig was added to our family and visited us every year during the fair. He had a beautiful country home near Gothenburg/Göteborg and invited us to come to Sweden to visit him and his family and stay at this house. He lived also in the city. This was the BEST vacation I was ever on. Sweden is so beautiful and green and empty. It had only 8 million inhabitants when we went there in the mid 80s. I really would love to revisit.

I like your videos a lot 🫶 - they are a mixture of calming/educational/entertaining content. We have spent a few summers in Sweden and love the country and the attitude - have some friends there and love coming back. I usually don’t comment - all is perfect 😉 now I got a suggestion - we really adore the archipelago - it’s so unique, breathtaking… islands of all different sizes one behind another and another… I would enjoy this content so much ❤ and a typical Swedish house to me is a fisherman cottage with outdoor stairs to the second floor 👌like in Lagarsvik on Ljusterö😊 Keep up great work 🤟
As an Abba child brought up in the late 70’s -80’s, being a family of Volvo and Saab owners I love so many things Swedish. I would love to visit for midsummer. It Looks such a wonderful celebration. Lovely visit thank you.

So interesting! And the pictures of you when you were little are so cute! One of the things I admire the most of Sweeden is the gender equality part. As someone from a Latin American country we don't have that kind of egalitarian society at all. Regarding the food, do many people practice veganism or not so much? Definitely hope to visit one day your beautiful country! 💕😊

Yay, my favorite swedish girl does a video on Sweden!! 🎉💙💛💙 I think, Sweden is one of the most beautiful countries in the world in so many ways. The really only thing I could even imagine that I don't crave for, are the long dark winters. 🙈 They are even longer & darker than in Germany, and that's already way to much for me.. 🤐😅 Thank you, Benita! ♡

Thank you so much for this beautiful look at Sweden. My maternal grandfather was born about 50 miles SW of Stockholm. He came to the US when he was 18 years old @ the end of the 19th century. He didn't talk much about his childhood and teen years, and I didn't know how truly beautiful Sweden was and is. This video touched my heart. Thank you again!
Ah 😌 I do love me a “very Swedish video” and this did not disappoint! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful tidbits, it’s always very interesting to watch.
Deer routinely wander around Washington, DC, including sometimes invading upscale shops in Georgetown. And no garden plant is safe if you live near the park. Hopefully the Moose browsing around in Stockholm are safe and don't get hurt or hurt anyone!
Your grass is definitely greener :) I also appreciate the way of thinking and doing in Sweden (and her neighbours) thank you.

Thank you so much for this wonderful video! So much of it is very familiar to me. I am married to a Dane and a lot of the food that he and his family would eat a special events it seems is also eaten in Sweden; pickled herring, Aquavit (usually consumed together because the fish need to swim), a variety of cheeses and smoked salmon. I would love to visit Sweden someday, perhaps when we go to visit my husband‘s relatives in Denmark.

My great grandparents emigrated from Sweden and Norway and settled in northern Wisconsin next to Lake Superior in the United States (as did so many other people from those countries as well as Finland, as I'm sure you know) around the turn of the 20th century. The landscape and climate here felt very familiar. In fact, when you look at some modern landscape photos, it is hard to immediately place which country it was taken in. It is a very heavily Scandinavian and Nordic influenced region here with many descendants still residing in the area. Even several generations later, fika and smörgåsbord are very common, before it became popular across the world. It is just a way of life really. Coffee and something sweet at 10:00 and all the food items you mentioned for smörgåsbord are very familiar! I love to watch your channel and have been a subscriber for some time. Keep sharing your life with us, please!
