Why does every apartment, store, etc. look like it came straight out of a catalog? I love the Swedish aesthetic. Every space is so simple, chic, natural, and minimalistic. Gosh, I absolutely it!

I love it too. It’s so refreshing to enjoy the beauty of Sweden 🇸🇪. It looks so peaceful, calm and relaxed. Sometimes, I feel that I didn’t know much about it and Ms. Benita’s video presentation bring in me the desire to go visit the country.🙏

I love long summer days. This year I’ve started getting up at 6am instead of my usual 7am and I enjoy my morning coffee looking out to my garden. Where I live in the UK Sun is rising about 5am and setting 9.20pm. I love the feeling of extra time in the evenings and feel sad our days are already shortening

I love watching how people live in other countries. Love learning how we’re similar and how we differ. Where I live in 🇨🇦, sunrise is currently at 5:30am and sunset is at 10:30 but doesn’t get fully dark until midnight. We have blackout curtains in our bedroom so that it’s dark enough to sleep. I love the long days but if I’m not paying attention I’ll stay up way too late!

I envy the time you get to spend outdoors in summer. I wake up at 5:00AM so that I can walk my dog and get my workout in before the heat of the day which as of late has been 101 degrees by 8:00AM here in Phoenix, AZ. Much of our time is spent indoors in the air-conditioning which was never a problem before, but with being inside for so long during the Pandemic, the last thing I want to do is be inside! I wouldn't mind the long days in Sweden, however, it may be a challenge getting used to sunlight at 10:00PM. Thanks for the share, Benita, always a pleasure.

I am envious also. I think this heat has ruined summer or maybe it’s my age, 70 but only morning is nice. I have umbrellas over my petunias because they can’t stand this heat either 106 yesterday. Texas panhandle.

Have to take care of the animals first thing in the morning! Isn’t it amazing how fast they train us. Loved seeing the shops & the merchandise they carry. If you were to move where your friends & son live would you be able to find a place with a nice patio like you have now? Your electric buses are just like ours only your seat covers are a lot snazzier!

@@BenitaLarsson You are helping me see a good routine for it...including two regular friends. I also get a few traveling nurses (I offer my guest room for-from a website) and this helps. I can feel isolated more than you are naturally disposed to do. Do you have any tips on keeping cats indoors. Mine end up hanging on screens on porch or escaping..so I have a small dog...but how do you do it?

Hello Benita 😀 Long summers days ~ I am an early riser - but also can be a night owl, this could be challenging! ❤ Mini and Bonus ~ I love how you are with them, we just got a new Kitty - her name is Nellie😻 - already the has claimed her domain💓💞💓 Your days are so relaxing - I've watched this video already twice already. When I take public transit I go directly to the back to find a seat (I always think I will see more outside from the back ~ don't know why). Walking around, window shopping, going to look at apartments (gorgeous apartments), and stopping for a glass of wine or lunch is such a lovely way to spend the day. Thank you for sharing - I think I will watch this video again! 😍 Hope your mom is feeling well.🌻🌷🌻

Thanks so much for the tour. I love Stockholm. My grandparents moved to Canada from there. I visited in 2019 in the summer for an extended vacation with my best friend, who is Danish. I miss the coffee and cinnamon buns, museums and other sites, and traveling on the waterways, and of course, the people.

Wow I didn't realize your summer days were so long there in Sweden. Nice video :)

We have the long summer days here in Northern Montana as well. Temps are near 100F for the rest of the week. We have many types and colors of sunflowers on our property. I fill large blue bowls of them and dry for the winter, The huge Mammouth ones are propped up along the fences for the wildlife in winter.

I have 3 fabulous cats and 1 off them drinks from a crystal water glass of the kitchen bench near the sink . It doesn’t affect us or the kitchen really so we let her do it . And she always says thank you 🙏🏻. I love how it’s something special she does and the cats don’t do it . So we go with it xx

Pretty much everything is perennial so it pops up without much effort every spring which is great!

It is so nice to see scenes of Stockholm. Even the upholstery on the bus seats bring back memories. I am looking into keeping an apartment in Stockholm or Göteborg which is closer to my family. My mormor lived in Stockholm for a time and she always told me how much she loved it there. I agree! Tack!

My cats allow me to live here with them....simply to feed them, clean their litter box, and provide a soft lap for naps! The area that you live in looks so amazing. I'm a wee bit jealous! 😻

Thank you Benita for the lovely relaxing summer visit. Your method of filming during travel is very interesting. I noticed how clean and new your sidewalks are and your buses. Bright cheerful seats but the floor was super clean, no dust and grime in corners at all. I super enjoy seeing your organized and minimal apartment. I have grown into this vibe in past couple of years following retirement. I ran a child daycare out of my home for 40+ years and furnished my home to accommodate the children’s environment. That meant a lot of organizing places for children’s toys and needs. It also meant there were very little decor items that were not very child friendly. My decor items were often limited to plastic items or stones and driftwood and natural items. Now I enjoy much cleaner surfaces and spaces without markers and many childhood creations and a much less hectic lifestyle. Have a lovely day today, everyone.🇨🇦

Some of those shops would be very tempting. Especially the zero-waste type one with all the lovely wood brushes. I love the selection of natural fibers available. I'm envious how clean the subway and bus is. The Philadelphia ones are just gross. :-( Thanks for sharing!

I'd love so much daylight. I always hate it when the days begin to shorten again so soon. Thanks for this relaxing video! The music was perfect. Your patio is getting so nice and private with all the greenery! I know you've said that Mini and Bonus (such cute names!) are getting older and probably less frisky, but it's so good for them and you to have a peaceful outdoor spot. :-) I am a city girl, or at least midsized town, lol, but there's nothing like a bit of fresh air and sunshine to keep one healthy. BTW, your English is wonderful and I love your light accent; it's somehow very cheerful and calming.
