    not sure about all crows but they can see and hear water from a good distance. mine comes home when he hears his bowl getting washed or hears the pump on the tank turn on to water the gardens. nothing for him to fly in fro. 1km away when it's water time. he wouldn't drink.elsewhere unless he was desperate. Crows only like what's familiar to them. anything else they are terrified of so likely had tourist give it clean water and learned very fast. not sure about one of this size but a larger crow can even remove a lid to get in to a bottle. such clever birds super great company :)

    @@bensimpson4091 I agree with what you said except that birds hear a similar range of sound to us. They're not mammals and lack an outer ear, which helps us focus sounds, but they take in similar frequencies (why we recognize their songs easily). Biggest diff is they take in the sounds in much shorter chunks, so where we may hear one sound they can hear 10.

    I like how patient the man was to help the crow, especially after the kids seemed afraid of it. I once saw a video of a man and a woman drinking from a water fountain in a ferry terminal in NYC. When they finished a pigeon suddenly flew over and stood on the drinking fountain and looked at the couple. The man said, “Does it want me to go over and turn on the water for him?” His girlfriend told him to try it, so he did. Sure enough, as the guy turned the handle to keep the water coming out of the spout, the bird drank and drank for a long time, while the guy looked at his girlfriend with an amazed expression, as if he were saying, “I can’t believe this is happening.”

    When I worked at an airport, during lunch break I always had a bread sandwich. Fed some crows for 3 months everyday, same hour, same place and after 2 weeks they were at my spot above me waiting for the extra sandwich. They were not there 30 mins before, always on time. Crows are very smart and with unique personalities. I can recognize them just by looking at their behaviour. The brave one that I hand fed, the hesitating one harder to gain trust and the oldest watching from a bit further.

    Kristina S. The definition of people according to the dictionary is 'human beings' or 'collective group of humans'. Also as far as I know the only species that has labeled humans as humans have not been aliens but humans themselves, are you implying that only aliens can use the word humans?. Which is a bit ridiculous since it's a human word designed for humans to use. Why does it bother you human?

  • @christinas.4342

    @christinas.4342

    +shadowjuan We don't use the noun human to refer to our fellow people. It's called a person, plural people. Do we say "one human was injured in the accident" or "hundreds of humans attended the concert"? That sounds retarded doesn't it? Like it's said by an outsider, an animal, alien or diety, to whom people are not individuals but purely biological entities without names and personalities. People refer to each other as person or people, not f###ing human(s).

    Kristina S., Too fucking bad, many HUMANS still refer to people as humans. Besides, in some coutries we don't have a translation for people. We use human or humans.

    All these negative comments saying how stupid the family is... The whole video is 1:32 min and it took them less than a minute to give it water. I would say the parents gave the children the opportunity to interact with the bird, the girl mentioned that the bird is thirsty and the boy was reluctant and scared. When the cap dropped Dad stepped in and helped out.
