The reason why we liked him is simple: He is educated, he is well mannered, curious and bright, and he liked us, to much extend I think, because we accept his PERSONAL decisions with NO reservations.

Seriously if you Americans valued cooperation and teamwork with Denmark you would send him and his family back to us in Denmark. He was truly the most amazing and well liked ambassador Denmark ever had the pleasure of having. So Democrats if you win you will send him on the first flight back here unless of course he wins the seat in the senate then we wait a bit

I guess more so the subdivision. I mean when DR3 was still a flow TV channel it was really quite small. Like about on par in resources to a single regional station like TV2 Lorry or TV Midtvest. So small in fact that DR has since then pulled the plug on the physical channel and made their programs exclusive to DR TV, their streaming service. DR3 content is still made of course but the channel itself on TV has been cut.

The new ambassador, Carla Sands, would never get the same respect i Denmark. The first day she turned up i a furcoat. If she had put herself into the Danish mentality, she would know that it is a no go. Animal welfare is a high priority here. It's clear that she's a frontsoldier of Trump's regime. As an ambassador, Carla Sands will, in many Danes' eyes, just be a pretty face for an ugly policy.

On her personal Twitter account, she often retweets Trump favorites Representative Matt Gaetz, Team Trump (the Trump reelection campaign account), and Breitbart News 🙄 She also promotes a number of conspiracy theories. For example, she retweeted a tweet from Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, featuring a clip of himself pushing a conspiracy theory that the Obama-led FBI spied on Trump's 2016 campaign. She has tweeted a number of items from Praguer U - a group that pushes a right-wing perspective - including a tweet from the group that humans weren't responsible for global warming. In Denmark we are pretty serious on environmental issues. She also retweeted a hoax video from a conservative commentator that claimed to show black Americans attacking a white Trump supporter. The video was debunked years ago (the white woman wasn't a Trump supporter). What's not to like 👀. She just doesn't get that Trump and his policies are a million years apart from our way of living 🤷‍♀️

People who dislikes Trump, his policies and his people constantly claim that they are oh so tolerant, compassionate, caring ect., but when it comes right down to it they cannot tolerate any other view than their own. Firstly. Are you seriously surprised that a political appointee, and a member of the Presidents party tweet out messages and opinions that supports the Presidents agenda, and which she most likely agree with? US Ambassadors cannot be compared with Danish Ambassadors, all of which are professional civil servants, who are not allowed to promote a sitting Prime Ministers personal agenda, but only the State of Denmarks interests. Prager U has an opinion no doubt about that. So what? Are you really saying that their crime is being a group with conservative opinions? If, according to you, no one is allowed any opinion that differs from your leftist perspective, then why just not come right out and advocate for the stalinist state you seem to long for. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NPR pushes a left wing perspective every single day, but I guess you find that to be just fine? I cannot comment on a unnamed video, so whether that's true I don't know. I can however, say that such things is something that happens, frequently I might add, on both sides of the aisle. Industry and farming should be closed down etc. That´s easy to say when you don't need a car or a bus to go to a job that a cityfreak so eagerly want to abolish just so it makes them feel good. Most environmentalists are such hypocrites living in nice houses/appartments with 2-3 60 inch TV's, iPhones and iPad for everyone and so on. If they really cared they would throw all that away and live in a tent, eating weeds or something. Environmentalism today, is the well off, punishing the less fortunate so they themselves can feel good. The same people who now think that the Coronacrisis is great because it helps the Earth, but they have absolutely no compassion for the tens of millions of ordinary people who lose everything. I find it despicable. I quote you. "She just doesn't get that Trump and his policies are a million years apart from our way of living". Well obviously, she has a different perspective than your elitist one. If you were appointed ambassador to a foreign country would you immediately adapt all you views to the prevailing ones in the country to which you were sent, if they differed significantly from your own? I think not. You would still proudly stand on your soapbox screaming "Ze ice is smelting at the powles" .

Amerikansk ambassadør. Der var et tv show med ham. Han var så vidt jeg husker også homosexuel, så jeg tror det var derfor han pludselig var ekstra interessant i fht at lave et program med ham. Kan ik huske hvilken kanal det var. Ved heller ikke rigtig hvad han gjorde, han var bare lidt fremme for et par år siden vidst nok.
