The month of June introduces the beginning of summer, when even the slightest movement can make you sweat profusely.☀️
Even with the help of hand fans, electric fans, or air conditioning, coping with the summer heat is a challenge.
On such hot days, it's only natural to think of some cold desserts! Ice cream? Pat bingsu? No!
Today's episode is about "watermelon hwachae🍉" that j-hope had a hankering for.
After making hwachae, you can even use the leftover watermelon to make sweet watermelon juice🥤.
Let's beat the heat by making this summer dessert with BTS! 😎
✔ Watermelon hwachae ingredients (for 3-4 servings)
1/8 (1.5 lb) watermelon, 3 oz canned white peaches, ½ cup lemon lime soda, ½ cup milk, ¼ cup juice from the peach can
Tip. You can also use other canned fruits or fresh fruits instead of canned white peaches. 🍌🍓🍍🥝
✔ Watermelon juice ingredients (for 2 16-oz cups)
2 lb watermelon, ½ to 1 tablespoon sugar (or brown sugar), ice cubes
Hwachae is easy to make with just one whole watermelon!
You can make a lot of it by adding different ingredients to it. Enjoy some watermelon hwachae with friends and family!

Milk and soda seems like such an odd combination to me but I want to try it 😆 I’ll use plant based milk, I think a nut milk would be a good choice 😋
