Tim Mackie reminds me of the scripture verse in the book of Ephesians that says God gave gifts unto men. Tim is a part of the puzzle that builds up my faith. Thank you Jesus and Tim.

For me, the Bible was always this confusing, barbarous work that didn’t relate to my life. Until, that I , through the Grace of God, came upon the lectures of Dr. Tim Mackie. Now, I can testify that the Holy Spirit is my teacher and my guide, and the Bible speaks to me personally, as the Inspired Word of God. That’s all I can say, and I thank God for Dr. Tim Mackie daily. God bless us all!

Behind most people who decide to follow Jesus there's somebody who prayed for them. I'm sure Tim Mackie's parents played most of that part.

Tim you use the word Churchianty many times. Your lecture on the wheat and tares helped me to come to terms with this part of my own upbringing. At least they have some belief in Jesus and the Bible. They are simply another mission field. However I am eternally grateful that Tim has inspired me to love and to actually read God's would. Tim's sermon on Jesus entry into Jerusalem was so different to any I have ever heard in the Lutheran Church. It makes me wonder if the pastors actually read the Bible. But I do know that at least some are followers of Jesus and the rest believe they are doing the right thing as taught by their Pastors. But I am now a Christian because of my churchianty upbringing.

Tim Mackie, in a closer reading of Genesis 1, I see that God never *said* that Creation was good. He *saw* that it was good. 7 times. And you know the significance of *seeing* in the Hebrew. Is it not more than just calling something good, but rather the recognition of its value, its beauty in his eyes?

This man is brilliant and very talented in his speaking and analysis. Nonetheless, I still marvel that a man with his intelligence would believe in a bronze age religion and a book full of insanity and contradictions.

okay, somebody did not listen to the message. what to do, what to do. I know, i will vent myself out by throwing cheap things like "insanity and contradiction" easy said than done.......can you prove your claim? it will be nice to listen to it.......let me google contradictions in the bible and post it here.....there... i invested like 2 min, and i am a scholar, like totally...............not
