To answer your question in 8:08, it's because you're playing in Normal Mode which is like the mode for beginners, the true gameplay with the faders (and discs) is Manual Mode, which is at Live Settings → Mode Settings (you might wanna check out Technical Settings too) Second: reason why there's GCM/WACCA songs: They did a collab! For GekiChuMai, each of the three games got 2 songs from 2 out of the six main units. and for D4 they also got two from each game. (Problem is that, for EN they somehow do not have one which is Caliburne). For WACCA they did it twice, first while the game was online, and second it was part of the "rhythm games that will carry on the legacy of WACCA after its shutdown" (And again, one song is missing in EN: Oüverture)

as a maimai player, I only really play it because there weren't many chuni cabs at the time, so maimai it was. and basically, the fun is about "how the frick do i read the slides", similar but very different to chunithm also by the end of a maimai session you are genuinely worked out so hey... you get some exercise lol.

@human2085 button or touch is all up to preference but ill list some pros and cons: button: pros: more accurate, tactile feedback cons: more tiring touch: pros: less tiring cons: easy to splash slides, one button trill need to use button along with touch (plat player, been playing for 6 months)

Bro said proseka has very strict accuracy while the judgment line in bandori is very sensitive

Ayeee finally a fair rhythm game review Also Arcaea very fun indeed, it's been my main rhythm game(second being phigros and third being rotaeno)since I started playing em last 2021, though it took me 3 years and a bit of my allowance to get to 12ptt it's very much worth it

Fun fact in world dai star there is a feature to adjust where the notes come from and how wide the judgement line is!!

i think the 0 bemani representation is funny (because konami smells) and i think you should try bms which is beatmania fanmades but with a shitton of banger original music that ends up finding its way in other games (gengaozo for example was made in 2003 and is now in arcaea, chunithm, vivid/stasis etc.) finding a keyboard layout that makes sense to you is also a hilarious and ridiculous journey but i think its all worth it for the music alone i've seen you've already responded to other comments about d4dj's unhinged mode and i can say i think its fucked up to have all of that on a touchscreen but the scratches fucking with the note scroll is a cute idea and i think it would go crazy with an arcade style controller i have no other notes, good video, good batch of impressions that go by quickly 👍

VOEZ has very tight timing for rainbows, it's +-30ms. I also would not call some of the charts relaxing when the directional flicks exist, but otherwise accurate!

Tbh, I kinda liked Sekai, but it started to feel like score had little to do with my actual performance and everything to do with how I was doing with the gacha part of the game and I didn’t really come here for gacha so I inevitably just went back to Cytus II XD

Ok the fact that you gave maimai the lowest rating and you don't wear gloves and use your sweaty hands really ticks me off 😂. Nah bro I can't trust rhythm game opinions from you lol. I have played a bit of chunithm but that game felt very awkward and delayed. You have to tap the note way earlier than the judgement line, and I don't know if there is any way to fix that.

Actually, I think most of the charts of osumaina is awful. The beatmap designers made exceedingly hard charts for the songs that are not supposed to be hard, like anime songs. May you play ez2on reboot:r or Djmax respect v? Those games are great too.

There's nothing wrong with not liking maimai, but at least give something a fair shot before critiquing it. That's what annoys me and probably the other maimai players watching this. Refusing to wear gloves is like making a cake without sugar and wondering why it tastes shit. You dont need to slide hard with your finger. The hard part is youll keep sliding too hard on faster maps. I cant say much since I only play gloveless right until I was 13k.

to cover where the notes come from cuz for bandori, the notes slow down for a while before going down, making it harder to read and play, so i use something to cover the top and play with a lower scroll speed
