Those tall scraggly trees looked like Norfolk or Cook Island Pines, there are a lot of them in Hawaii too... Loving the Pacific island vibes in this game!!

I was literally more and more impressed every couple minutes, this game looks STELLAR and has soooooo much to do and explore. I do have some concerns in the back of my mind but we shall see once the game comes out.

i LOVE this game!!! it caught my eye when i saw it on wholesome games. i can't wait to see more of it!

This game seems very cute! I love the cultural aspect and how you can have a chill sailing experience or just straightup turn into anything you want. I do hope they add some introduction to the possesion aspect though. I feel you shouldnt be able to do that from the get go, but I would love to have like some spiritual folklore or quest that teaches us we can do that. Also although I don't think this was meant badly but having a more white-looking woman threaten a black-looking kid with a shotgun and having her do her groceries miiiight not be the best intro. Maybe being welcomed to the island in a different way might be better and then one of the other locals could send the player that way with some dialogue along the lines of "Be careful though, Gaby can be a bit...grumpy when newcomers visit her home" or something along those lines. Then it would be a bit more expected that you're suddenly threatened with a shotgun and makes the intention clearer.

I think your concerns are valid but FWIW 3:51 Aenne mentioned that the demo skips the first bit of the story. imo this is more of a tech demo to show off the gameplay variety and get people excited about the game

That's some good feedback. This is a pretty early preview- so I know they're looking at feedback right now. I hope they have a list of content warnings for people when the game comes out. (Aenne)
