I haven’t had much interest in games lately but I’ve literally just fallen in love watching this gameplay. it has such a sense of community and you can feel that it was made with love. i wanna play so bad now!

I love games where you can freely climb all over and into stuff. When I was little I used to play tomb raider with my older brother and he would get so annoyed at me just jumping and climbing on everything instead of doing any tasks lol.

this game looks so cozy and adventurous, like something my inner child would love. super excited to play this later this year!

As a French Québecer, I’m surprised at how similar their French is to ours. I could understand the character more clearly than I understand most French people from France 🤣

The accent reminds me of a very thick french country accent tbh! Probably in between France-french and Québec-french as they're alos easier to understand than Quebecquois imo. Makes me want to find out why!

@@Zzz-cm5kw yeah, it reminded me most of the accent on Les îles de la Madeleine in Quebec. Close but not as “muddy” (not sure if that’s the right word, but it’s less influenced by other accents since they are pretty remote). And it’s no where to sounding like the Acadian/New Orléans style French. My guess is it’s the same area and era of colonizers, sadly, that influence it. But I also will look more into it.

@@melaniethompson8919 it might be related to when they were colonised, too. Accents evolved over time, it's bielieved Quebecquois and Acadien accents are close to what old french sounded like back when they invaded north America.

I was curious when I heard your comment and dang as a France French I can barely understand them without subtitles, their intonation feels just like people who learned the language but have an accent... XD Feels very weird Tchia's way of speaking was clear tho

i haven't buy a game in at least five years cause my only plateform is xbox 360. I'm seriously considering buying this one on PC, it is absolutely beautiful. You can see the developers put their hearts and souls into this! 🌺

I'll have to keep my eye on this one, it looks like so much fun and it is so beautiful. It may not matter at this point, but you can actually soul jump into other animals (like the cows) but I think you were low on stamina (or "soul jump power", whatever that little bar with the soul jump icon is) so you couldn't do it at that moment. Apparently the cow's special ability is pooping, lol.

@@ALLinHerMovements As a kanak girl, the stories about race and ethnicity here are very complicated, if I take the kanaks’s point of view, you’re not considered of mixed unless you have one parent or grandparent who’s not kanak, some people also considered you mixed if you have a last name which is not kanak but some people still consider themselves like mixed because you know, NC is a big meltingpolt where people are all a little bit mixed and even before the french colonisation our people had some stories with Polynesian, other Melanesians and people or South East Asia so 😅

You did not find the button to soul jump to a creature from a distance yet you can souljump out of the cage into a creature in the neighbourhood but still, there is a lot of wholesome feeling to this game.

lol watching this, the game just came out. At the end in the cage, you can soul jump into the lanterns and even the fire to get out and burn the cloth people. Cute gameplay and reactions. The campfires is where you change clothes too. Hope you give it another chance. Must've been confusing starting the game a few hours in via the demo, where the basics and tutorials are skipped. So pretty though.
