Found out through this video that Sean died, don’t think I’ve ever went from laughter to complete devastation so quick. As a Dutch lover of most British gameshows I can honestly say no one has made me laugh harder than Sean has, I’ve watched every clip of him (and others) countless of times and every single time he managed to make me laugh so loud, even though I knew exactly what was coming. Dear Sean you will be missed tremendously, and I feel a tiny bit better knowing that wherever you are now, that place will now be a lot funnier. :(

I've never cried or been as devastated by a celebrity passing as I am now. Just found out by trying to look up if there is any new content about Sean. He was the most brilliant comedian. Needless to say I do not live in UK so the news travelled slowly to Northern Europe. RIP and my condolences to everybody whose lives he has touched over the years.

I keep coming back to these videos because I have a lot of time for Sean, even tho he’s passed. I will never forget him, even from the grave he continues to make me laugh. RIP Legend.

This man has made me laugh so hard that at times I could taste my own liver. His humor and delivery went down really well in Holland, where we Dutchies absolutely love this kind of straight faced absurdism. Dearly, dearly missed indeed!

Normally i never comment on things but this really hit me. The amount of nights during college i binged sean lock while i studied. Doesn't matter how many times I watch his clips, he cracks me up. Still can't believe he's gone.

I've spent the last few days just finding videos of 8 out of 10 cats and countdown and have been loving every second Sean Lock was on screen. I had no idea he had passed, and knowing that makes me truly sad. I'll have to spend some time looking into his work now because he is a great comedian and seems like a great person the way people regard him in these panels. Wish I could have supported him in his life, but glad I stumbled upon his comedy.

When he took leave from Cats Does Countdown and returned with a diminished voice for a while, all signs pointed to something being very, very wrong inside. Lee Mack has written today that it was known that this day was coming. Stoic, selfless and brave, Sean was just as you'd expect him to be, and kept us laughing right up to the flood of tears.

I didn’t catch on to his weight loss and voice (I’m very oblivious) so finding out he was suffering from cancer was a huge shock to me. Knowing now he was dealing with that for who knows how long and still working hard to make us laugh is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time

@@DursunX The claim that he shaved his head (when it may be that he lost his hair) and Sean growing a beard (perhaps to cover increasing thinness) now both seem to have had ulterior motives. Hiding the effects of his illness in plain sight, perhaps.

The fact that it was so hushed that he was even ill, brings the frailty of life to the fore and makes you wonder why someone so relatively young gets taken too early. Especially someone who brings such joy to people and is incredibly talented.

I’ve watch CiaB 20 times and still laugh every time. And then he went and beat Jon again. The Hilter adlib with Miles Jupp is right up there too. The seal club story, rectum of the year, telling the queen to ‘pay some tax love’, constant hassling of Jimmy about his tax issues, apparent disdain for the Countdown show, and just his constant stream or one liners and cleverness will be cherished for ever.

Probably my favorite Sean moment was when Joe Wilkinson was reading "the" poem (you know the one...) and Sean was laughing so hard it hurt, and he could barely catch his breath. All he could wheeze was, "Please stop." I'd never seen him laugh so hard. You left us far too soon, Sean, we will miss you!

One of my favourites was when Rachel was wearing the Viking ski mask and Sean said "that's a challenging wank". He always catches you off guard with his humour, can't believe this has happened

Always remembered never forgotten. RIP Sean.

As an American whom has only become a fan of Sean over the past six years at most, it’s deeply saddening knowing he’s been gone for around two years now. He’d become one of my favorites on this show in very short order. Every time I watch 8/10CDCD, I deeply regret that we’ll never witness any new moments of comedic brilliance from him. Any man that can ruin the composure of people like Jimmy Carr and Jon Richardson and reduce them to tears of laughter is a man worth admiring. It’s a bittersweet thing watching the show, watching him crack up an entire panel of comedians, but knowing his like is gone. If I drank, I’d pour one out for him. RIP, Sean. You live on in every gasping guffaw and chuckle when you make me a giggling mess grinning like a mad fool. For as long as these clips and repeats remain, you live on in our laughter. We should all be so lucky as to make such a mark.

The funniest part of this clip is the fact he nearly killed Claudia Winkleman. If he’d kept going, there’s a good chance she would have had a heart attack.

Fuck, I just found out. His comedic style was so unique; I always enjoyed watching him. He'll be missed greatly, by his family most of all, of course, but by many more as well.

I love him. I always binge watch him when I'm feeling low and it makes me happy. I didn't realise how popular he was with everyone. I'm completely gutted that he's gone. I honestly can't think of another comedian that I've liked as much as him. I actually cried when I heard and I never do that with famous people.

one of the biggest regrets in my life is never seeing Sean Lock at a live gig! God bless his memory and his family with funny & happy memories of this comedic genius, the like of which we’ll never see again! I just think of the A-Z casserole he made and Miles Jupp spoon feeding it to him!

@@pinkkam they recorded the Xmas special a few weeks ago. What happens afterwards is a mystery. I think it'll carry on, he wouldn't want the show to stop just cos he isn't there. Can see Jason manford or Lee mack taking his spot, manford is on the Xmas special.
