Jdilla produced almost all of the tracks, PrincePaul produced a few remixes and underground remixes and unreleased stuff you hear, Phife dog also produced a few tracks as the later album was released Midnight Marauders he had his footprint in a few tracks, but generally Prince Paul and Jdillas work. Superb production, but the group went against the Jdilla signature sound on the last 2 albums, which were the poorest rated and poorest produced and less memorable just commercial style tracks. That ended this group.

I wish the young kids would appreciate this. I show my son all the old school hip-hop from the 90s late 80s. And he absolutely loves it. But then I’ll catch him listening some shit on hot 97 with zero lyrics and an OK beat. And I’m like really dude. He’ll figure it out though.

Song makes me sad not cause its a sad song but life was very depressing at one point and I used to listen to Tribe walking by myself in the hallways. Shout out to the Tribe for getting me through some tough times

Yeah when it came out it was like Whoa- this music- this genre, can literally stand shoulder to shoulder with ANY music. As technically precise, dense, meaningful and compelling as any other music you can listen to- and the entire album is essentially one seminal work. At the time it was in a class by itself and I honestly think there’s maybe only 1-2 other hip hop albums that can match it in its entirety.

I know right, I remember my dad copping this single, and then getting the album. Best decision he's made.

Back when you needed to be a talented lyricist, when you needed to have flow and knew what that entailed. They embodied this, like many others did. Excellent work that will live on.

Every time I hear this song it puts a smile on my face. I read most of the comments and none are negative towards ATCQ or their music. That's another indication of how AMAZING and DOPE they were. I may have played this song 5 or 6 times in a row. Much Love to ATCQ and damn do I miss Phife.

I remember chillin' to this back in the Summer of '93 while working at Cumberland Farms. Love those times

No one ever talk about this rap group but only Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dog etc. Most underrated rap group ever! They have got the flow and finesse. Impressive!

A Tribe Called Quest were a great group and added something special to hip-hop. They incorporated jazz in their raps. I wish we had artists these days like these guys. Tracks like this always makes me move and picks me up from a stressful day at work. They need to do a comeback tour. I'm stuck in the 90s.

+dccmaj man I totally agree! I was always feeling good after a bad day once I hit play on this CD. Actually this album and The Low End Theory haven't ever left my music that is always with me. I must say, when I was blunted, I just noticed so much going on in the background of the beats on Midnight Marauders album...all time classics!
