The culture I was born into has a roughly translated saying: "Fish and children don't have a voice". The type of "shut up or you get the beating" mentality. I wish I would have been seen and heard by my caregivers. Thank you, Doc, for seeing us.

I am so sorry you had to endure that... and in today's culture, may continue to endure it.

When I was young I was told to shut up so often that visitors to my house suggested that I might start to think it was my name.

Just want to tell you that medical cannabis, CBD and THC, helps me with the symptoms of CPTSD. Happy to see the you change the name of BPD to BPT, it's a start.

I'm a 25 year old male, and I suspect I might have BPD. I get angry pretty easily, and I'm constantly worried that no one will ever love me and that the people around me will hate me if I screw up or if they find out how weird I really am.

Dr Snipes, do you practise your great understanding with your patients? How come others don't learn the knowledge that you have? Why are they so thick and evil and go on and on hurting us, leting us down, wastin our nervous energy, life-energy, waste one's life/ time? And why do doctors, who studied physiology, ignore the correlations, the logic?

I am sorry you have gotten inadequate and invalidating care! My mom used to say you don't know what you don't know. I think many clinicians fail to realize all of the things they do not know.
