I'm sure someone has already commented this but the nintendo online membership is actually $20 for an entire year so under $2 per month and it's helpful to have for other online switch games too! kudos to you for creating your entire island without using any codes, though!

Unlike previous animal crossing games, the characters in this one won't move without your permission so you have to check the characters you want to move every day to see if they have a thought bubble over their heads and if they do have one, talking to them should show the "move" option and that's how they leave!
