This was what my Mother who passed away a year ago loved, fresh flowers, beautiful table top decor and entertaining. Our society is trying to take this away. Millenials do not want family heirlooms. Society is telling us to get rid of Grandmother's silver tea sets, because nobody entertains that way anymore. Thank you for bringing this back to us.

YES, Nicholas can you tell me where I can order the Queen mother tea set reproduced by Charles...its lovely...I'am in Australia, exactly what Trust shops in the UK? who would ship also I loved the aqua table mat at back of wall, so hard to find really good ones, I bought my equine ones in Britain years ago...which are breaking up, just wish I could locate some new ones taken from old paintings...any ideas?

Nicholas is the Bob Ross of decor, food and etiquette- just mesmerizing to watch and listen to, filled to the brim with charm and you can tell is such a warm hearted person ❤️

I agree too, I think Nicolas is like a beautiful well spoken, graceful Angel. I really wish I could just put him in my pocket and get him out when I need a pep talk in how to be more elegant and sophisticated, lol.

Like Maureen I am a senior and it's great to know the age of elegance still exists. My Mother's Porcelain got chipped and damaged during the war, and as children we had to live with the chipped plates until China became available in the shops. I was around 15 when I started to collect my first Royal Doulton Dinner, Tea and Coffee sets and I still have them today. I managed to replace Mum's Rose Tea set, and she still has hers. Lovely Porcelain does stand the test of time and using it everyday still gives me a buzz. I was really excited to see your collection and listen to you talking about your pieces. To learn something on how to age pots was an added bonus. Thank you for taking so much care on producing your videos, I really enjoy them 😊🌟

You set a very elegant table. It reminded me when Macy’s Department Store use to invite designers and certain NY celebrities to prepare dinner tables during the holiday season. These were the years when Macy’s was a class act and not the mishmash, let’s please everyone that it has become now.

Another technique for ageing terracotta pots is to use a sponge and messily/generously dab plain greek yoghurt onto your pot, leave it in a dark room for a month and voilà! A perfectly aged pot.

Dear Nicholas, in my opinion any food tastes better with the correct table setting, it is a way to enjoy the meal, as well improve the whole experience. It’s so lovely the way you place all the items, shows passion and respect for the meal.

I loved the China collection, especially the Royal Trust set, those are my favourites. Love your dog 🐕 sitting patiently in the background with her pony tail 😁 so cute! x 😊

If your son is devoted to would-be elitist trivia. This is an aspect of British culture that needs to go! He may be a nice soft-spoken person, but the under-lying, disguised snobbism is tedious and annoying.

I really enjoyed the tour of your China cupboard! I especially like all of the backstories on the various pieces! My grandmother collected teacups and saucers from various antique shops as well as mementos from her travels. She enjoyed using them at her bridge parties and when friends and family would visit. I used to love exploring her China cabinet and picking out my favorites! Thanks for sparking such happy memories! 🥰🥰🥰

I don't know how I got here but so glad I did! What a charming young man and an inspiration to all younger generation. I just recently decided to collect china and fine pieces. How quickly I have learned history through researching patterns, Countries of origin. Subscribed!!

I appreciated viewing your collection of China and related items. I did find the subtlety of the acorn salt and pepper shaker set appealing. I discovered some advice on adding hot water to a tea pot prior to filling it with tea. The initial hot water is used to heat up the pot. This water is discarded just before re-filling it with the hot water for the tea. This helps the teapot keep this water for serving hotter for a longer period of time.

I love your tea set collection, l was so excited when you reach the pink boxes ( I recognize them because a few months ago, I bought a Royal Albert tea set, 9 pieces hostess set, a mini tea set and some other pieces ) just yesterday I saw some of the items they have to celebrate 100 years of Royal Albert collection, they have the colors you have on the tea cups inside your pink boxes. I will be waiting for them to have a good sale on the Miranda Kerr friendship collection; the tea set is beautiful and the colors are so pretty, greetings from Michigan ( I think your friend the lovely and elegant lady, also your neighbor said she used to live here ) thanks for sharing 🙋🐱 my cat and I send you a big hug.

I especially enjoyed this episode. Early in my years of collecting, one of the first things I bought was an early print of Dunrobins Castle. Thank you for sharing!!

Well first of all that metal set that you first showed is amazing oh my goodness. That set is right up my alley. I even have the silverware from my grandfather that matches it. As far as the eternal bow China. To jazz it up you could pair it with the metal first set that you revealed. Of course it would have to be quite a number of people because you would have numerous tea and coffee pods. But as you said you have a lot of tea cups to go along with it!!! I really enjoyed your table setting at the Donrobin Attic Sale. I was just simply gorgeous!
