I know this has nothing to do with this episode, but are there any plans for Easy Portuguese to eventually include Easy European Portuguese? I know a few episodes where made a few years ago now, but that team has not uploaded anything in a while. And it would be nice seeing the Easy Portuguese team work similarly to the Easy Spanish team, encompassing and incorporating many different varieties of the language. It would be interesting, I think, to at least have the two main varieties represented, European and Brazilian Portuguese. But ideally I'd also like to see the inclusion of teams from Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, and Timor-Leste, helping Portuguese learners get some exposure to all the varieties of Portuguese.

I think it's quite hard to find content about Portugal Portuguese because the population of Portugal is pretty small (less than the entire city of São Paulo), but there are some of, a channel I am aware of is "Portuguese with Leo", very good content.

A pronuncia mais dificil para mim é a R, D, e G. em inglês o som g só tem uma forma de pronúncia, é exatamente como gato. enquanto o português tem dois, o g e o j para a mesma letra. é difícil acostumar-se a pronunciá-lo sem hesitar. o som d também é difícil, seus dois sons dificultam distinguir quando fazer o som como em dia com g, ou em dedo, que para mim é a pronunciação e o som que estou acostumado em inglês e espanhol.por último, é difícil lembrar a letra r e o som quando ler a alteração. a primeira letra g do nome gerardo tem o mesmo som que as duas letras r do correio. Estou ciente da diferença de sons para palavras com letras G em português porque é o mesmo em espanhol, então posso me lembrar disso. o d é o id mais difícil de dizer devido ao fato de terem o mesmo som 1 em inglês e espanhol enquanto o português tem dois, o switch é difícil de saber quando pronunciá-lo corretamente e com graça. adorei seu vídeo, é útil e fofo

Pode funcionar tentar exagerar um pouco na pronúncia para treinar, depois naturalmente poderá ficar mais fácil de falar e de identificar os sons nasais. Teste um pouco e depois nos conte, ok? Olá! O “x” é uma dificuldade até pra muitas pessoas no Brasil, sobretudo na escrita de algumas palavras. Ficamos felizes que com poucas semanas de estudo, você já tenha descoberto o Easy Portuguese. Mas uma dica básica sobre um dos sons de X é: Se a palavra começar com X, o som é o CH. Exemplos: xadrez, xixi, xingar, xote, xaveco, xis… Obrigado pela pergunta e também queremos que você considere se tornar um membro da nossa comunidade 🙏😃

I believe there is a fourth pronunciation of the letter "e": with an "ee" sound at the end of a word, for example, "de," "me," "dente," or "aquele"? (And "e"!)

Hello! Great question! It’s hard to explain why. But, as a rule, the Brazilian “r” basically has three ways of pronouncing it. You can see this in the examples: - reflexo (begin of word, similar to h in English) - arara (middle of word, before vowel,, similar to r in English) - porta ( middle of word, after vowel, similar to r in English) These are basically the pronunciations, of course when the person is a little more advanced in listening, they will notice the different sounds of the accents. As in English, this pronunciation of “r” varies from region to region and from person to person. But the subject, like research, is so complex that it could become a master's or doctoral thesis. . Olá! "r" é difícil realmente. Talvez um conselho seja praticar, mas não se preocupar tanto com a pronúncia do "r", pois ela é bastante variável mesmo se comparar os sotaques brasileiros. Obrigado pelo comentário.

Pois é. Só o "r" poderia ser um episódio. Há tantos sotaques e tantas formas de pronunciar. Continue treinando e estudando.

I feel a little unsatisfied with the "e" pronunciations. there are ê (like hay), e (like egg) and the nasal en/em. but then when you pronounce Éfe, the last e sounds like e as in tree. What's going on here?

Olá. Good and sofisticated question. That could be a plus when we talk about "e" pronunciation. In the orality, at the end of some words "e" sounds like "i". That become the speech more natural. Examples: ele, moleque, pele, etc... Obrigado.

Olá! É difícil mesmo. Se a gente puder dar uma dica, tente reparar nas diferenças quando está escutando e aos poucos vá "refinando" a sua pronúncia do "r". A naturalidade começará a vir aos poucos. Um abraço. Obrigado pelo comentário.

Yeah, you do. It depends on the position and the number of the Rs 😅It is not as strong as in Spanish, though.

I believe it is to help with focus and clarity when understanding words unique to another language. If he were to speak quickly, it wouldn't do any good because it would be for an English speaker to understand.
