From the opening moments of this trailer I could already tell that Teyana Taylors' performance in this film is going to be incredible. I wish nothing but success as she continues to embark on her journey as an actor. God bless her.

this is horrible. If you know anything about Harlem, there is an abundance of single mothers, who choose to make babies with the wrong men and have no one accountable almost 100% of juvenile offenders came from single-mother homes. almost 100% of juvenile offenders came from single mother homes I thought they already made a movie about single mothers raising their sons. It was called baby boy, 2001.

Yes I’m bawling! My mom was also in foster care I take for granted sometimes the life I’m able to give my children when I had nothing but love in my house no money at all , one parent addicted to drugs another to alcohol and I’m fighting alcohol now, I love my kids and this is a reminder how far I’ve come , but remembering do what you need to to never go back

Teyana has always been beyond successful underrated artist, I've ALWAYS rooted for her, so glad to see her expanding her acting, this role definitely appears to be nominated for an award, I wanna see her continue to win, many BLESSINGS QUEEN!!💯💕

Like I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THIS!!! When her friend said "When will you realize that you are enough?" that choked me up. So many people just want to be validated!! Teyana went from the 16 year old with big hair who wanted a bike, while everybody else was wanting cars, on MTVs My Sweet 16 to THIS PHENOMINAL WOMAN!!! She shines so brightly & authentically!! When Teyana said " don't you know I go to war for you against this whole city???" Yep I felt that!!

I see her winning an award for this performance. I can just tell by the trailer. She is really putting her talent in this character she is portraying.

You ever notice that in order for a black movie to be “powerful” it has to be about tragedy? Preferably tragedy that involves “strong black women”?
