A tale of two towns: Stalybridge
Written by Craig Murtagh
Presented by Ace Maddox
Produced and Directed by Mike Fawcett
Join Ace Maddox as he takes us on a 'normally you'd miss it' tour of the best towns in Tameside and the hidden gems they have to offer. In this documentary Ace will compare, contrast and inform us, in his faultless opinion, what we thought we didn't need to know.

This is brilliant, this guy is like a disgruntled Bob Ross. I cried laughing. Can't wait for the next installment.

Glad it made you laugh, yeah we are hoping that Ace Maddox will be up for documenting some more local stuff and maybe interviewing some locals next time. He may also review a forthcoming series we have in the pipeline called Greenhouse wives of lancashire.
Just started working in the bridge....now I feel well informed enough to open conversations with the lads....jobs a good en
Awesome, just awesome and awesomeness personified 😄👍
Thanks for reminding me why I left ! 😀
This really good work. I'm laughing whilst commenting. You actually make it look old-fashioned, too!! Great work, great work.

And yet none of the mass murderers mentioned actually came from Hyde. Thankfully nobody in Hyde has a Bob Ross f**king haircut!
We are the bridge.
The film "yanks" staring Richard Gere was also filmed in Stalybridge

Go way back to " The Cellar" near Ashton market. Sticky floors, and one-pint bandits galore.

All three murders you mentioned didn’t live in stalybridge. Just saying. Was mates with Sam shipman. LS Lowry lived in Mottram also, jeepers come on get your facts right. (Where you were sat next to his statue) Omg how many things can you get wrong. Asda in Hyde? You mean Ashton…. This guy

two of those killers are hattersley not hyde and so is ricky hatton. if youre going to be pedantic get it right. typical bridge.

In 1936 Hattersley moved from Tintwistle rural district to the Hyde municipal borough. So is now classed as a area of Hyde like the areas of Godley or Newton. If your going to be pedantic get it right.
