Did you know that a swarm of ladybugs is called "A Loveliness Of Ladybugs." It's also called a colony, a cluster, a swarm, an aggregation. In the UK they're called ladybirds and a group of ladybirds is known as a "loveliness of ladybirds." The scientific name of these beetles is Coccinellidae.
No matter what you call them, the ladybug is believed to bring good luck, and when one spies one, it's a reminder to count your blessings.
This swarm occured in Yuba County woods of Northern California Foothills and was caught on camera and shared by a friend.
