We are in love with Efteling after our first trip last week!

The first two weekends in November in Efteling are usually busy because most Dutch people use their reduced fare tickets from Albert Heijn which is a big supermarket chain in The Netherlands. Those tickets are only valid untill half November, before Winter Efteling starts.

This park is one of the greatest in the world. Everything is themed for full immersion.

Just a tip: you can always take the kids menu in Efteling. It is usually best value for money snd you get a souvenir too

It's in the fairytale forest or storybook forest and it's called 'De Indische waterlelies' invented and opened by Queen Fabiola of Belgium.

It's the best thing in the world

I ❤ watching Efteling vlogs. I’m so far away so it’s nice to be able to visit this way. I’m headed to some of the Baltic parks in 2 weeks - Gronalund, Tivoli, and Linnanmäki. The food at the Efteling hotel is quite good. I think we had Salmon and braised short ribs. Posh-yes, but delicious.

In the 'Vliegende Hollander ' the scene with the watercurtain was replaced with the scene of the ship figureheads due to maintenance problems

Next time don’t forget the Lachhuys in kand of Laaf. It’s the laughing house. Tge stairs each make a different sound, it’s hilarious

We didn't, we visited in November but somebody explained that a lot of coupons expire the weekend we went and that is why it was so busy.
