A Surgeon's Horror Film Reaction
What's the scariest thing you can think of? Well, for Phillip Anjum, a third year medical student, it's going to medical school. Phillip created a short horror film to depict the stress and anxiety that goes along with medical school. In this video, I watch the film and react (it's only 9 minutes). really love out of the box thinking and someone that is being so super-creative so I wanted to showcase the film for Phillip. Way to go Phillip great job!!

SO RELATABLE. except the part where it is so empty... never ever saw a hospital empty like that LOL. even on a very quiet day the lights were never off...
I think the scariest thing about this film was the memories of bad question writing! It was a huge problem when I was in nursing school and it gave me so much anxiety. When I was taking my licensing exam, I remember sitting there and thinking, “wait, these questions actually make sense!”

after doing questions all the day, my dreams are just about questions and USMLE
Creeeppy.. ha reminded me of being in the cadaver lab studying late at night when no one else was in there.. great film making!

It's not that bad haha. Stressful for sure but third year is waaaay better than 1st and 2nd. Just have to figure out what works for you and work on mastering your study skills.
