Abdal Hakim Murad became Muslim on the year Joram Van Klaveren was born in 1979. Few people in the Islamic world bridge East and West, tradition and modernity like Abdal Hakim Murad. He studied and lectured at both Cambridge and Al-Azhar but also sat at the feet of Sufi Shaykhs and gives regular spiritual lectures in his local mosque. He’s on the board of The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics in Doha, but he also holds the position of Dean at the Cambridge Muslim College. He translated important classical works, but he’s also a regular contributor in the British media. @HalisMedia interviewed him for our new documentary film about Prophet Muhammad: THE Last Hope. It's Allah who caused your birth, not your mother who suffered great pain to deliver you on Earth. There was absolutely no medium that helped to get you on Earth MashaAllah what a miracle you are. p/s: guiding can also mean through something or someone that does not negate the original initiator.

Narrated Aisha: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) came to my house while two girls were singing beside me the songs of Buath (a story about the war between the two tribes of the Ansar the Khazraj and the Aus before Islam). The Prophet (p.b.u.h) lay down and turned his face to the other side. Then Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly saying. "Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet (p.b.u.h) ?" Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) turned his face towards him and said. "Leave them." ================== What does this HADITH sounds like ? If according to certain hardcore Muslim fanatics, they will ONLY CLAIM that Prophet Muhammad never replied back those claims of Abu Bakar ( 'Musical instruments of Satan' )................ So to these fanatics, it can ONLY mean one thing : That Muhammad NEVER ALLOW all musical instruments ! Therefore, ALL MUSICS are HARAM. ========= But if it is people with BRAIN and LOGIC, they will immediately realize something IMPORTANT when prophet Muhammad said to Abu Bakar : "Just LEAVE them alone Abu Bakar, beside this is our EID and our big festival too !!" So people with BRAIN and LOGIC will instantly know that Prophet Muhammad was a very understanding and kind person. He understood people with many cultures.... And beside, people with brain and logic will also know that if something is TRULY FORBIDDEN and HARAM, then prophet Muhammad will SURELY be the FIRST to INFORM and ORDERED them to stop and told them that this is also a very SERIOUS and BAD THING in ISLAM. but yet he DID NOT, and he even just CONTINUED TO LET his VERY OWN wife Aisha, to LISTEN to them singing and playing those SO CALLED MUSICAL instrument of SHAITAN !!!
I hope lots of non muslims sees this video. It would be refreshing for them. Most weird thing in christianity is they go to church and they see a cross with black/white/asian jesus on it and you always see jesus is suffering on that cross. Dont they think how can the almighty creator be tortured and killed by his own weak creation. Dont they think this is bullshit.

@YTarmy722 Because the majority opinion of the 4 madhabs is that it is permissible under certain criteria which we are fitting. We don't follow the protestant understanding of Islam that emerged 300 years again under the leadership of the British and poisoned the Ummah by making so many things halal into haram by default and without any consensus and without respecting more than 1000 years of scholarship before them. If all you can say about this interview is that a 1 min intro with light music is haram, your understanding is definitely part of the problem and not the solution.

"Musical instruments of Satan ============ Abu Bakar clearly shouted 'MUSICAL instruments of SHAITAN' ..................whether it is DUFF or NOT ! BUT Muhammad STILL allowed his very OWN wife to listen to them ! Special treatment for his wife is that it ?
