Luz Donahue is an abstract expressionist painter born in San Jose, Costa Rica and currently working in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Her work explores perception, the unconscious, time awareness and how social media affects us. Through transparent documentation and public reflection about her process over social media, talks, an inspirational newsletter and workshops she aims to demystify the creative process behind abstract expressionism. Her practice mission is to encourage others to structure processes for creation that fit their individual physical and emotional needs.
