You mentioned your neighbors tractor. It sounds to me like she has like a 2032 series? Yeah they sit lower but you need ballast just like anything else, they have the same capacity but lower profile. We also have a 790 with all kinds of implements and modifications, great tractor.
Love my 790 just switched from tuff to the ag tires what a difference in dirt in mud mine is a 02 with under 700 hours

Oh man I just had the turf tires on, just the front, cause I needed new tubes in the ag tires I usually run, and man just have the front tires I could tell a huge difference having a hard time getting through the mud. Definitley a big difference with the ag tread
can you use a 3 pt hitch round bale spear ok with the 790? i have a horse farm and need to move round bales and my bucket spear is a NO GO!!

A three point hitch spear I’d be confident this tractor would handle. I’ve moved literally an entire tree with this thing we cut down and I dragged it about a 1/4 mile to the burn pile.

Got my 2001 790 last weekend and am thrilled!! Thanks for the video! As I'm a first time tractor owner any advice is highly appreciated! Did you do more videos on the tractor?

@@yukonessn6097 I haven’t done any more videos on the tractor yet but I have some filter changes I need to do coming up so maybe I’ll do something on that. This 790 has been an awesome tractor. Only issue we ever run into is the bearings in the front end. But we are constantly hauling full loads in the loader bucket which puts a lot of wear and tear. Luckily it’s not the hardest job though.
