Everything about this video was so stinkin' sweet! Jackson's desire to help you with the project melts my heart, as does Alec's emotional response to 'what are you doing to my bed?!' Kids are so pure of heart and I hope the new room layout helps you all get the sleep you need!

So much sweetness packed into one video! What would you do without Jackson that day... he helped so much... what a capable kid! I was really so impressed that he knew exactly what needed to be done without any direction. The brotherly love and motherly love moments were so special that you captured too.

When he gets it in his mind that he wants to do something, he really tries hard to make it happen.💕 Sometimes it’s a frustrating quality in certain situations, but I try and embrace it whenever I can. 😁

I love having a good move around in my home. I think it changes the whole energy of the room. I do it a few times a year. Deep clean and even if it’s just switching plants etc around. Love doing it but have to be in the right frame of mind.😊

I’m with you. There’s really nothing like it. I remember rearranging my room all the time as a kid and I wish I had more that I could do with rearranging furniture in this house. But you’re right, even just plants or relocating decor to another place makes a difference. And yes! All stars have to be aligned to start a project like that though haha.

Loved this video, like always! I paused and zoomed in on the books. We had so many of those same books! I love that your Goodnight Moon is so worn & well-loved. Ours too! Brings back such special memories. My kids are only 9 and 12 so it wasn’t THAT long ago. But yeah it’s true what they say, time goes by fast. Clearly you are cherishing all the moments. 🥰

We love Goodnight Moon. I’m sure you probably have it memorized as well. ☺️ It does go by so fast. It feels so bitter sweet having all these toddler experiences with Alec that I had once upon a time with Jackson.
