Brave girl. It happens a lot more than you think. A friend remembers one of Callas' Lucias at the Met. She went for an Eb and nothing came out. What he remembers most was the look on her face!

I feel sorry for her 😔 she has a great talent. I hope she didn’t give up because of that‼️‼️

I was at an Elena Suliotis concert performance of Norma when nothing came out of her voice during the Casta Diva. She walked off stage followed one by one by the chorus . It was heart wrenching because there were a lot of Callas fans in the audience who booed her after the moment of stunned silence. it didn't help that Callas, Tebaldi AND Milanov were in the audience.

BRAVA~! such strength and courage to finish the aria!. Other than that....wee little slip (singers are all human, it happens.)...everything else sounded quite well.

Too bad it happened during the performance, I'm sure many a singer has been there. At least she had the grace to stand there and finish it. Good for her!

WOW! I remember my real debut in SIXTH GRADE! I let out a LOUD CACKLE during " This Land is Your Land" during the graduation assembly. OMG - I learned what public humiliation was TOO early! heheheh. The boys section started cackling and calling me chicken boy as I walked proudly off stage.

Showing that is just cruel. Her vocal cords cramped, not her fault.
