I love how Avi’s voice goes to the basement as his pride sinks to the bottom of the sea. One more suggestion to add to your list is “Try to get it right”, great lyrics, great voice, no tears. PS: Avi has recorded two versions of the song I mentioned yesterday, “I’m only getting started”, one with a stunning b&w video, and one at the Sunset Sound studio with the same musicians as for “When I’m a fool”.

Really cool, I’ll have to check it out. And I have to decide if I’ll go to London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen. Aarhus is more difficult for me from Norway, but not impossible ☺️

What I love about this one is that everyone is having such a great time. You should definitely try to see him live. He will be in Europe in September. Check out the dates on his channel. Great reaction, cheers!

Avi and Shooter Jennings (producer of his latest album "Floating on a Dream", did a 4-part series of short talks about the process of the 4 Sunset Sound songs. I love hearing the backstories of songs. This one was the third of the four and talks specifically about the other musicians. Avi will be doing a short tour of Europe in September, and if you're able to travel to see him, it will be so very worth it. Back in 2019, I flew from San Francisco to Texas to see his last 2 shows of that tour in Dallas and Houston, and while the weather was blisteringly hot, I wouldn't have traded the experience (videos on my YT channel), and in 2022, flew up to Portland, Oregon for his show there, after seeing him in Berkeley. Anyway... he'll have shows in Cologne, Aarhus (Denmark), Copenhagen, Berlin, Warsaw, and a couple of others. Hope you can make it to one!

Very tempting to do that. I can fairly easily get to London, Amsterdam or Copenhagen so there are definitely possibilities. And it would be an amazing opportunity to make some travel vlogs as well ☺️

Kaleb is his touring guitar player. He also has his own solo music which I quite like. I second the suggestions for "All is Well: 7 Layers Session" and the others people have already suggested. I hope you get to go see him live. I won't get to see him on this tour, but I am holding out hope that he will record one of the dates for online viewing.
