Yes and it makes sense even more now how similar they are.

I have a feeling Daemon is the kind of guy who would have gone DEEP into the Firstmen/Weirwood lore if he hadn't grown up the direct legacy of the Dragonlords and so immersed in his heritage. Thats what was prominent to him but he is a naturally adventurous guy. To him its all fables told by the conquered little people, until he realizes its real and it shakes his foundation of reality. It is poetic for him to be the first Targaryen wedded to the trees, it makes sense when you consider it is from him and Rhaenyra that the Ice and Fire prophecy line stems.

I also am a person who fucking hates spoilers when unsolicited. But I wholeheartedly agree with Tim on this. If a work has been out for 10+ years, fuck off with whining about spoilers. Are people just never supposed to discuss films and books that they've seen and wait around for you to get to it? It's just weirdly entitled at that point.

Considering how big of a fan George is for Daemon. I don't see why he wouldn't make him more OP every opportunity he gets. I bet he somehow survives God's eye and something cool happens afterwards. I'm absolutely here for it. ❤😂

I think that Daemon's in-world ayahuasca trips are all being orchestrated from King's Landing through Larys Strong's greensight and weirwood magic.

I think it is Alys who is the boss and feeds Larys info, and tell him what to do. I think she's his mother. Or sister. Maybe aunt.

From what i have seen after episode 4 of season 2 of house of the dragons dameon really may become the three eye raven before bloodraven. Also i just thought to myself caraxes bloodwrym- brendon rivers bloodraven cant wait for a night a seven kingdoms the bloodraven character gonna be so important

I love this theory. In HotD, I took the "You will die in this place" as a similarity to the way Bran Stark "died" in that cave. If Daemon gets a vision of the Night King, i can see him going beyond the wall to fight him (Especially if the secret of ASOIAF died with the other Targaryans).

Otherwise what's the point of all the nightmares at Harrenhall, all the visions. But the witch saying you will die in this place is a bit too on the nose and feels like his end won't be open for interpretation. Which would be unfortunate.

Finally...someone is giving the Massey's thier due! Massey has CLOSE ties to House Targaryen as did Bar Emmon. And YES...that Sigil is very telling! And isn't it interesting how Aemond has a Blue eye..Blood Raven has a Red eye and Tyrion has one Green eye? And the Dragon War...Red Queen, Blue Queen..and Vhagar makes Green Queen.

I find myself wondering if there’s not a damn good chance he’s still the “ends justify the means” ruthless manipulator & murderer, just one now with more power & time given his position as the Three-Eyed Raven. I’m not really certain his interests align with the realms of men.
