Ahhh, that writing retreat looked like so much fun! And, tbh, the TV coming up was so satisfying, and then the jump cut to ‘wow that actually went up really high’ made me laugh so hard and idk why. I’m glad you got writing done, though I’m sorry your body said ‘no’ for some of it so you didn’t get as much as you’d like. But enjoy that 10k coffee ice cream, you earned it!

I remember Bob Proctor said that he’d go to this motel to read and study. So yes there is noise. But it’s not necessarily noise addressed to the writer. Which they would experience at their home environment.

Kawartha Dairy makes iced coffee sorbet, so you can get alllll the coffee ice cream feels without the dairy! 🍨 It’s my favourite summer treat but it can be hard to find, you might have to ask your local KD distributor to bring it in. So worth it! Glad you enjoyed your retreat. Kingston is beautiful. Let me know if you need a beach pitstop next time, the Cobourg beach is the bomb. 👌🏻

Yay!!! Congrats!!! I never end up writing in hotels because I get way too tired from being a tourist to do that. LMAO I always bring a notebook but then I go to sleep instead of writing.
