Welcome to our latest promo video for the next installment of the 'A Soldiers Story' series, featuring former Army Corporal, Cliff Purvis. A veteran that's seen it all from Combat to Civvy Street. With a total of 24 years served in the Queens Own Highlanders and the Royal Army Medical Corps, Cliff has had a storied career in the military, including deployments to Northern Ireland, South Atlantic, Belize, West Belfast, Gulf War, and UN Bosnia, just to name a few.
Since leaving the army in 2002, Cliff has been teaching First Aid and conducting Occupational Health Screening for the last 17 years.
In this video, Cliff will share his journey through his military career, including his training at the Bridge of Don Infantry Barracks, and his experiences in various locations such as Edinburgh Castle, Hong Kong, Tidworth, Greenham Common, Fort George, Kenya, Münster West Germany, Canada, and more.
