RevolvingWorld Nor have I, but what the hell is it going to do to me even if it gets in? They don’t have the erratic movement or disgusting waste of crickets moths flies and roaches, and they don’t have the danger of spiders scorpions bees and wasps. They also don’t come in the numbers or cause the damage of ants. They’re just small blobby cows with cute eyestalks, mushy suction mouths for sucking up tiny microorganisms, and slimy stomachs that they use to slowly slither around. Actually tbh I personally am more nervous around ladybugs than slugs (I know I shouldn’t be but I just can’t help it) because of their kind of erratic movement, smaller size, which makes them hard to track, and ability to fly and land on any part of me. Caterpillars are in a similar harmless cute vein as slugs tho, and mantises rarely fly, especially towards you, which combined with their size, harmlessness, and general badassery makes them fine in my book too.

Turning a cheap old dumpster into a pool is actually pretty brilliant. Cement for an underground pool is expensive, and all you need to do is power wash the inside and add a liner, drill a hole or two for a pool filter. An old shipping container would be better though, those things are huge and once the bolts and handles used to move them wear down they're sold for scrap steel or refurbished.

Reminds me of the time I worked at a farm for 8 months grinding potatoes to a pulp.. The owner's brother was upset that he didn't get his $45 for the work he did installing a door, so in a big 'fuck you', he literally took the door off the hinges and brought it home. The next day the building was freakin' full of insects and frogs.. Good times. Not to mention the several other health hazards that took way too long to fix. That shit head council has destroyed a 40 year family business who predominantly employed people with special needs. It was the state government that ordered the slug to close the business. This business provided hospital meals to major city hospitals. The case is currently pending a court case and the business is set to be awarded tens of millions. They hope to reopen and re employ their old workers. This was a complete bastard act by the state government and it will possibly result in jail time for those involved.
