Nice! I fumbled my way through my first rock'n'roll solo recently on a song I recorded, playing on either the E and B strings, or the B and G together, but I see now where a few slight changes to what I'm fretting would make it much sweeter! I always learn something from every one of your videos, that you very much! 🙂👍

Awesome video Damian, could you make a video about the rockabilly sound? Which amp do you use and which effects ?
@Damianblf
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much and thanks for the suggestion about creating a Rockabilly sound tutorial. Usually I'm playing through a tube amp whether it's a Fender Hot Rod DeVille, AC30 or a Supro Delta King. The only effects pedals I've been using in my videos for the past few years have been a Analog Alien Rumble Seat when I play Rockabilly and Noturne's Jr. Barnyard paired with a Boss FRV-1 '63 Fender Reverb pedal when I'm doing Jump Blues. With all the different lessons I do, I find that I'm constantly changing my settings on the amps. Thanks for watching & keep on rockin'. :)

Awesome! Thanks Damian. Just curious at time 2:50 you mention using double stops from the 4th chord, DMinor and D Major Pentatonic scales ,as it's in the key of A major what's the reason to use D minor? Thankyou
@Damianblf
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rajesh. Thanks for the question. One way to solo over the chord changes of a 12 bar blues is to match a scale of the chord that is being played. I chose to play the D min & maj pentatonic scale because the 4 chord in the A blues progression is a D7. Thanks for watching & Keep on rockin' :)
