to all the trolls trying to make this post about Native American rights. You don't have the right to tell another culture their history is wrong and that yours is right. In doing that you're doing the same thing you claim to be against. can we all grow up and stop bickering about who did what first? what difference does it really make in 2021? were you there? no. was your dad there? no. just calm down and focus on being a human person. we are not crayons. we don't need to arrange ourselves by color. that is a distinction for simple, superficial minds. love one another and seek to understand one another. and then, on top if it all you're going to be racist against souther accents? this person did a great job reading the book.

Native Americans did not create the United States. This is History of the United States, not the history of warring tribes in North America. Details matter. Do better. This book is great and short.

Started to listen, wanting to learn, but as soon as she omitted the first people in America. Then she said Columbus was not the first person to discover America(which is true). Then I thought she will mention the first people in America, but no. Some guy that barely made to Greenland. The only mention of the first people is when Columbus calls them Indias. Then I turned off, since everything else is going to be manipulated. Bad job.

to discover America you would have to not live there. If you already lived there you wouldn't be discovering it now would you?

Native Americans didn’t live in United Stares, they lived in warring tribes. That’s what literally makes this the history of the United Stares and not the History of America. Details matter. Do better.

If you don't care for the southeastern manner of elocution perhaps one of those vulgar Brooklyn or nasally midwest accents would be suitable. Better yet, read it your self.

what possible difference could it make who is "first" is it a three legged race? a hot dog eating competition? to say "we were here first" is an incredible oversimplification of the world. grow up

Is not a matter of who was first, but the telling of the History of USA, the correct way. Imagine people that haven't grown up(kids) are learning this junk.

@@jypsyjewels2854 Native Americans, indigenous people, those who have been murdered, raped, decimated with disease and poverty, by the very people they are saying were first. Grow up? Educate yourself. And recognize what is correct, and right.

@@windomearle2932 Not every "white man" who came to America did that. So stop warmongering. Native Amercians killed too. Native Americans raped too. Everybody hurts each other. It's part of the human condition. And yet people set sail across vast ocean in the literal unknown. The braved storms, sickness, and starvation. That's part of the story too. Should I not know about that because of my skin color? How childish can you be? You have created a very simple narrative that doesn't hold up any more. Study Russell Means. He is one of my heroes and he would never say what you are saying. You think there is some villain called the "White man" and you speak about things which happened when you were not alive like you saw them with your own eyes. Maybe you need to grow up, culturally. Study more history. I am an American what are you?
