There are actually way more channels who do voice overs than ones who dont. You'll definitely find what you looking for

You move your hands ONLY to demonstrate a step, and you SHOW what your are doing/going to do, instead of telling/explaining verbally. Well done.

Made my first pair *yesterday* (well, it turned into an all-nighter 😊). Nailed a number of things intuitively, like lining the seams up on the pants and waistband, and doing a zigzag around the waistband to finish, but I couldn’t understand the instructions and have exactly the waistband you first showed. Also, my elastic is only half the width it should be. Next pair will have a *perfect* waistband. Thanks for such a great, clear video! 👏👏👏

Все пояса,с широкой резинкой, переделываю! Просто прострачиваю по поясу три отверстия ,для трех узких резинок, и в среднюю ,ещё добавляю шнурок с предварительно сделаными прорезными петельками для шнурка. Очень надежно. Три узкие резинки ,дольше служат, меньше разстягиваются, да и шнурок ,дополнительно фиксирует. Широкая резинка, быстро приходит в негодность и ее нужно менять только выпарывая пояс, а узкие мозно заменить не выпарывая. Проверено ,по ходу жизни.

А зачем первый пояс выбросили? Отрегулировать резинку , прострочить и все. Тем боолее подобрать такую же ткань нереально и незачем.

Из ролика никак не следует, что его надо выбросить. Расшили и переделали. Если прострачивать прямо на брюках, ровно не получится.

Вот правда говорите! Постоянная проблема из-за вшитых резинок, никак не заменить! А еще если по размеру резинка не походит, то никак не убавить и не увеличить. Я в покупных штанах всегда выпарываю резинку и делаю по своему, менее красиво, зато гораздо удобнее и менять длину можно и саму резинку.

А я свободно резинку вставляю в кулиску и просто закрепляю несколькими вертикальными строчками на всю ширину резинки. Прекрасно носится потом, не скручивается в трубочку. И если поменять надо, распорола несколько строчек парусантиметровых и все дела.

Можно же сразу на резинке две строчки дать, а не заново все делать

I’m tall and slender, so if sweats fit my leg length you can put three of me into the waist. Ugh - all that bulky fabric and a (grr) drawstring tying me in like a sack of potatoes. Checked out about 15 different XXL brands for Christmas; nobody does tall and slim it seems. So I’ve decided to make my own. First pair: completely successful except the waistband. Subsequent pairs will have EXCELLENT elasticized waistbands now. ❤

Which elastic is this? There are different types. Some elastic stretches when sewed through.

Fabulous video but torturous soundtrack. Please try some more ambient, and pleasant? Otherwise, can’t fault a wonderful demonstration.

That's how I do them except for the zigzag stitch at the end. I'll have to try it and see. Thank you.

For the 3 long stitches on the elastic itself, is it a straight stitch or another kind? I've heard straight stitches sometimes snap when on stretchy fabric so I've been scared to try it with them...

I reallu dont understand what is happening with the three rows.. i tried it a little piece and what happened was that i sewed the elastic band open to the fabric.. so.. i stretched it out and sewed it in its stretched form.. making it not stretchy anymore.. I can imagine a zigzag would fix that!

If you have a straight stitch only, use the longest straight stitch. This is usually a basting stitch. It will stretch without breaking, in most cases.
