🤔 He just pronounced it wrong, so lemony always thought it was sham, so he wrote it down as sham, so it will now always be sham.

Spoiler kinda I know how the books end and how Lemony Snicket keeps saying there is no happy ending but when I watch the show I still think there WILL be some sort of happy ending

But what I didn't like was the author teasing that the parents might be alive, only to drop that plot thread like it never happened. That just seemed lazy in an otherwise well written series.

I loved it because in the books you don't know very much about the parents of the Quagmire triplets, only that they died in a fire. But the series gives you a little backstory and info about them and also about the VFD. If they really were the parents of the Baudelaire orphans it would be a bit disappointing because it would ruin the plot of the books.

its funny, because up until that point i was like "uuuugh, no, the parents didnt survive the fire! dont ruin my books!" and then when i realized it was the Quagmire parents i was like "YES!... and no, oh no ;( " of course this series would take my joys of it being faithful and break my heart in the process.

Remember that he's also Kronk from Emperor's New Groove? He did the voice acting at the exact same voice and tone but he managed to make New Groove sound funny but make ASOUE feel sad!

I loved the books and the series are so good. It’s a bummer that the cliffhangers are not really cliffhangers if you know what’s going to happen next though. Can’t wait for season 3!💙

Neil is so talented it blows my mind. Not only he makes us believe that he is evil but he also has to play a bunch of different characters throughout the show and it’s really entertaining and fascinating to watch knowing that he is actually an amazing person

I watched season 3 and damn I felt so relieved to solve the mystery. I had so many questions when I first watched this but I eventually got answers. I love this show cause it's very different from what I watch, and what I watch always has a happy ending so it gets boring that I can predict whats gonna happen next. And so after watching this series and reading a few of the books I am amazed with it all.The acting, make up, costumes, to the narrating, and everything, it was just perfect. and also became my favorite author and TV show.

It's not about happy endings, it's about stories. It's an ode to soap operas and old literature/theatre while making fun of them. You know, the old tricks in the book. (Don't say it's pathetic, it always works) Weren't you glad to see Don Johnson and Nathan Fillion? Old tricks !!!

I only just finally finished the tv series and all I can say is BRAVO! This series was amazing! The style, the story, the actors, everyone of them perfect Neil Patrick Harris and Lucy Punch embodied Count Olaf and Esmè perfectly, they deserve every word of praise. Neil even made me feel sorry for Count Olaf in the very end.

i absolutely LOVED the episodes and the books! Lemony Snicket is the best! ( and J.K Rowling, Rick Riordan e.t.c)

The ending was sad but also confusing and this was my favorite show I cried nonstop when it ended forever

The show got so insane I forgot the whole purpose of it is the Baudelaires running from Count Olaf.

People really don’t understand how amazing the show is with all the mysteries and all the people Count Olaf dresses, this show is so underrated

I love this show! This is the only Netflix show that I've ever rewatched the same season multiple times because of how captivating it is! Every time I rewatch an episode, I always find something new that I missed too! Great show! Perfect actors and actresses. Can't wait until Season 2!

When I was younger my grandpa would always play the Series of Unfortunate Events movie and I loved it so much! Then later I found the book series at a library and I was just as hooked on the books as the movie. Then when I saw that Netflix came out with the series I was ecstatic! My whole family would have a night every week where we watched two episodes, and once we were done with a season we were eager to see the next one. After we finished the series I watched it again and again on my own and loved it every time!

This show is soo underrated !! i felt like crying when i finished this ! we need a season 4 !!!

I honestly love the creativity of the show. It is it's own world that I admire. The weirdness and and adventure is simply amazing.

My friend told me about the show I tried watching it and I finished season 1 and season 2 in 2 days LOL.

God I loved the books so, so much and as soon as I saw that there was a series I had to double take. Sure, the ending isn't exactly like the book, but the series was absolutely awesome.

I love this show so much, Violet Baudelaire is my favorite one,. She is so talented!

All these incredible sets are just exactly how I imagined them in the books❤😊

Patrick Warburton made, in my opinion, the perfect interpretation of his character. All of the cast was fantastic, yet Lemony Snicket was manifested just like I imagined him back in the time I was reading books.

What I love about this show is having the feeling of hope that the story will end happily but then once something unexpected happens, you then get that pain or pity feeling in your hear. I just like this rollercoaster of feelings that this show has been giving me.

This series is an example of how to do a tv series adaption right, really enjoyed it.

As someone who grew up reading the books and watched the 2004 film, I think I’m fortunate that this show was made in my lifetime.
