Dang tiger being vulnerable on camera like that wow. Much respect. So much humility. He doesn't feel like an inspiration to others bc he feels like just a regular guy who's made a bunch of mistakes that just so happens to be the greatest golfer ever. This man is a good human

The moment where Jada is saying it's amazing how much he's overcome, etc. While that may be entirely true, Tiger is a different beast, which is on the one hand why he's been able to overcome so much (and will in the future), and on the other hand why he could never look at it that way. The best athletes all have that mindset, which - again, is why they are the best, and why they can't relate to normal folks in that regard. I do think he is much more humble and appreciative through his trials and tribulations, but he's also just always focused on achieving goals, and doing each step toward achieving them well, rather than "hey I'm awesome".... it's kind of implied.

I wish I couldn't look at it so cynically, but it looks a but contrived to me. I've watched all three episodes and there's some good stuff there, but a lot of platitudes as well. I get the feeling with women he plays the humble, wounded puppy dog shtick. I really hope I'm wrong but I've heard when he plays with his buddies or other pros he's quite a foul-mouthed dude.

the TGR Foundation is big on the STEM program and i love that because I'm an Enginerd and gave talks with a coworker's friend's elementary class to help promote math and science. Tiger has given back since he's had the means and that speaks volumes of human failure in life we ALL experience.

at age 13 I was lucky enough to be on the driving range next to Phil due to connections my father had. And since Phil is a lefty, I was able to face him and mimic his swing. I started playing seriously after that. Still love Tiger, but Phil has this presence about him that is like a drug. It just makes you happy and thrilled to be alive. Will never forget it.

@T Free Oh here we go... There's ALWAYS a Debbie Downer on social media. Nevermind he is arguably the greatest of all time. Let's pick apart a man who gives millions of dollars to not only his own charity, but many others too. A great inspiration and role model for millions of people around the WORLD. Yeah, let's pick apart apart his shortcomings. He is human. He's not Jesus, just Tiger. Like you have no shortcomings huh? You probably watch pornhub on your phone in the bathroom, with the door locked while your wife is in the next room. If you even have a wife. Or apparently a life either except to leave negative comments on posts that have absolutely nothing to do with you.

Man Tiger was raw here. It's amazing to see how uncomfortable he still is about being put on a pedestal, even after so many years of being the best. What's more incredible is that he can be such a killer on the course and yet underneath that he's a humble, introspective human. Makes you realise that at the end of the day he's just a human with feelings and anxieties like the rest of us.

I don't think he's humble. He has to suppress all that confidence he has, keeps the fire burning. He could be a prick like a lot of golfers, but he subdues it intentionally. Hints of his arrogance spew, and then you see what happens with his history etc. Not saying he's not a great guy, I'm just saying he has a ton of emotions to suppress. He was brought up in an intense environment. His dad was intense. He too is intense.

@Arcade Along with having kids. I also read once that when Arnie passed, Tiger decided to change his tune and be more like his idol. You'll notice Tiger is much friendlier with fans now and even other players, prime Tiger would never even acknowledge the rest of the field... these days not so much. I still think, deep down, he's an arrogant prick who puts on a show.

@@abdhashmi you say that because you can tell he is not content. Like he said he always feels like there is a fight. When realistically he could just accept he was one of the best golfers and still is but seems like if he accepts it the fire will go out. No fire might inspire people to do fight and try to do better but seems like he knows if he sets that in his head he would have never had won another tournament.

We don't approach him or any other famous person like star-struck fans either. We just casually walk by and we will speak, he and my husband will exchange fist bumps and we will keep it moving....the last couple times he must've remembered my husband bc he approached first and spoke which was cool. Over all really nice guy...seems humble. Im always rooting for him.

What Tiger did in 2019 was probably the greatest thing I've seen happen to the sport in my lifetime. I had overwhelming tears of joy when he won the Masters, and like Jada, it inspired me to take the game seriously. I played A LOT when I was younger, but never really tried to get better and was always roughly a 10 to 15 handicap. I'm much better now and getting very close to scratch golf. My ultimate goal is to be able to play in a qualifier for the US Open. I wish Tiger the best of luck in healing and making a comeback. I'll be rooting for you all the way man.

Knowing what happened to Tiger the very next morning makes his words and humbleness so much more meaningful. I found myself choking back the tears. This is a man who was just trying to get back to a good place. I admit that I was initially thinking that he might have been drinking or doing something worse when I heard the news of his accident. After seeing this video series, I really doubt that it was anything more than an accident. This man is one of the most impactful sports figures in any of our lifetimes. Thank God he has the fighter mentality that he speaks of in this video and he was able to make yet another return. If it weren't for this man, so many of us would probably never have picked up a club. Thank you Tiger! All the best!!!

Yes. My feelings exactly. At the end I just wanted to give them both a big hug and a fist bump. Jada was absolutely adorable as she pretty much is for her whole life. (Don't believe me? Check out 'A Low Down Dirty Shame' and try not to hug her itty bitty self through the screen). I'm so happy she got her birdie. Well deserved. I also loved seeing Tiger this way. He is a star without comparison and he has built himself into this epic, legendary, clutch-machine, golf God through hard yards and great balance in his physical, mental and spiritual sides. But we barely get to see his teacher mode, his human mode, his buddy mode etc. In fact he strides the pantheon so well it defeats our imagination, that he could be human. Rock star Tiger is a rock star teacher. Who would have guessed? Well I guess that became apparent when Charlie went all gangsta Tiger cub on the course. Wishing Tiger and Jada much love and respect.

But now we see such a better athlete, person and bigger inspiration for all of us in life and Golf! It would an amazing thing beyond all he’s already done to see him come back and break the major record! Now that would cement him as the greatest athlete of all time in any sport, although most of us already knows he is!!😊😊
