Drum & Bass On The Bike Bournemouth 2022... YOU DIDN'T DISAPPOINT!
Another totally epic ride on the south coast. It's all quite a lot for me to take in at the time as I'm trying to be a Sound engineer, Livestream engineer, DJ, Cyclist and keeping an eye on that one little thing called the time so I know when the go pro is about to die. (Just ordered an Enduro battery as I've typed this as apparently its super good) I can't truly grasp what's going on until after the ride when its all died down, afterparty has finished, packed up and I'm sat in the hotel looking back at the videos and pictures from the day.
During this particular cycle we had so many younger generations taking part and it was absolutely brilliant to see.. We always have some youngsters but on this ride they were all over along with plenty of families and again something I noticed after the ride was we had about 6/7 dogs + Dave The Amazon!
I think one thing I will now take from these rides is that the youngsters participating will come back and probably watch this video for years and years to come to say they were there, they were part of it, and what an amazing thing that is. These rides seem to have created some incredible moments that I never ever would've imagined.
Thanks again to all the Speaker Carriers AJ, Ben, Renovatio, Velo cafe + Many More It literally takes hours to set up and dial in. Thanks To Pete for helping manage and create the route.. Shouts to Cri Short on the drone shots, Genaro & Mark on the pictures... And thanks to everyone that came along, I will definitely be back next year Bournemouth!

Me and the missus went to this one. Such a great atmosphere, and no feeling of being judged for being a couple of boring middle aged people on sensible bikes, seems this movement is for everyone, loved it. Thanks Bournemouth.

I agree 100% It was a really inclusive vibe with a mix of all kinds of people. The whole spectrum. This format gives access to people who wouldn't normally have access. I've been to many DnB events over the decades but it wasn't until DNB on the bike that I partied with pensioners on mobility scooters and children! Who knew that would happen!? 🤣

@@NickIrvineFortescue man! Dnb'ed for like 15 years in clubs and raved with all sorts of people. Dnb has always had this vibe, its why I liked it. Hated going out on the town to the mainstream pop clubs, someone always wanting to fight.
That was me driving the ambulance at 31:40! Everyone was very respectful and moved out the way 🙏 so thanks for that. It looked like an awesome turnout!

Utterly stunning day, everybody was bubbling, such a crowd too, I saw an 80 yo woman cycling next to a 5yo kid, Thank you so much Dom, I bet it meant the fucking world to everyone !!

I'll be remembering that ride forever. I loved it but more importantly my 5 year old and my 3 year old loved it. Never thought I'd get the kids to a rave so Dom you are a legend for us. A household name. We love what you have created. An inspiration for how you can live life

6 months ago one of his videos randomly appeared on my feed. Little did i know that i would be at the right place and right time to experience a stimulating bike ride like this, halfway across the world. Wonderful people and an insane beachside after party. I was at the back of the pack again this time carrying 4 soundboks speakers, but now we have 2 speaker bikes at the back, my girlfriend has now got electric bike and was carrying 2 soundboks speakers, one of those speakers was our man like Cri's, thank you. And obviously shout out to main man Dom, what an end of summer ride and the after party on the beach ⛱️ 👏 was off the hook 🚲🔊🎶✌️

How were you linked into the sound at the back of the pack? How consistent was the connection? I'm thinking of attending one of these with a small speaker trailer but I can't see a Bluetooth connection extending to the rear of the pack...

@@ambientvoid the speakers at the back of the pack play the Facebook live stream so if your phone or device got signal and you can Bluetooth to your own speakers then your good to go. Also the after party at these rides now goes off and that's where we need speakers the most 🚲🔊🎶✌️

@@DnB-BMX yes mate. quite a few speaker riders on this one sounded amazing . Im pulling a 18” subwoofer a 15” Yamaha and a soundbox. We use inverters to achieve mains voltage for the equipment 👍
