Bro. Craig , in my eyes you are very rich. You have a family, a home, a business that you love. You’re getting paid for what you like to do. You have wisdom. You have a great attitude. You help people. You give people hope and dreams. Just watching your videos have helped me with day to day life since i had to quit my job over a year ago because of health issues and I’m still hoping and trying to get a nursery started. I’m living in a two room guest house and it’s got way to many plants in it that I’m propagating. I’m not going to be sick and feel bad forever I know that God is going to heal me and I’m not going to be broke forever. Talk about starting from scratch!!!!! I long for the day to be able to order pots and plants and ground cover. I’m saying this to let you know the hope and dreams you give people that you don’t even know about Thank you and God bless you. It’s about 180 miles from my place to yours, but one day I’m gonna come to your nursery.

You're rich because your family shares the same passion. Nothing beat that. Here's an idea for you. Add couple of 2 x4s to the inside of your trailer. Then place a sheet of plywood on top, doubling the capacity to carry more pots. Add pots half way, then place the plywood, add on top. Then continue on adding on the lower section, another sheet of plywood on top and more pots. You'll move twice as many pots in one trip.

Yeah but then you have to take the whole thing apart. Probably not a time savings. In commercial nurseries they use double decker wagons made from expanded metal. These can be towed with any vehicle, whether pickup truck, tractor, or all terrain utility vehicle.

I built a homemade shelf in the front for hauling an extra row of annuals one time. It can work well if done correctly, but with my setup, only for very small plants. I'm trying to get out of the plant hauling hustle if I can. I'll keep doing some, I'm sure, and that's fine. But, at least for now, my concern is not "how many plants can I fit on my trailer," it's "how many plants can I grow in this nursery." But... always appreciate the ideas.

You don't take it apart. The 2x4 runners stay attached to the trailer. The only moving part are the two sheets of plywood.

In your journey to be where you want to be, you pause, look around and think how blessed you are. In two more years, you’ll do it again and see how the hard work of the infrastructure has paid off, once again thinking how blessed you are are but to even an order of magnitude more than last time as the young ones learn the ways of an honest living. But, sir, your journey doesn’t just affect your life and that of the family! As you share it with us, we all learn from you, whether nursery related or simply by showing your path to a better life which some will take inspiration from. Your riches don’t stop on your side of the camera. The words you spoke in a previous video which have helped me the most were “just get started, no matter how small, you need to have a starting point to grow from”. You are rich. We have been open since February 1st and it's pretty much my Mom and me during the week potting up and getting ready for our weekly Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It can be overwhelming at times but the reward of the good health, meeting new people in our Community and seeing day by day growth in the business is a "rich" reward to us and our lives. Hope you have an awesome open day through mothers day. The majority of sales from my experience. Glad you found those annual wholesalers and veggies. It's hard to grow them without the indoor space to spread. Yours look great though. Good job. Don't forget to put 1 plant as a mother plant in the ground to.learn it's growing habits so you can share your experiences with them. A nice back in ground garden area with some benches to rest for your family and to learn the plants habits. Hope these ideas help your already awesome nursery

You are blessed! I often think about what the word rich means. Having traveled around the world overseas the past 22 years in the military, and seen true poor got me to thinking coming back to America. People always talk about how poor they are. I did some research on average household incomes around the world. Very interesting food for thought, like what you say about true value. If your household earns around $19,000 a year, everyone working together, you are in the top 4% of the world’s richest people monetarily speaking. Interesting. If your household working together earns $19,000 annually, you have no debt, and $1000 in savings, you are in the top 1% of the world’s richest people. Food for thought about how our culture looks at this materialistic world. You are blessed. And a great inspiration to me and my family. Keep up the good work and giving us content and fueling our dreams. You truly are a family that has their priorities straight in this clown world we are living in.

Just a tip to have something instead of weeds :-) I also put woodchips in pots and | don´t have much weeds o grass in them. Plus if you put some other small plant in them that grows very well, the customers can be happy with the added value of another plant. Just my opinion.

Google “nursery ground cover”. There are many online retailers that sell it. Check around your area for nursery suppliers or greenhouse supply stores as ground cover can be quite expensive to ship from an online shop.

Good replies here. You're looking for something like "woven ground cover." Not plastic.
