7:16 they do put what type of items will be in the box in the description as in X amount of side arms and Y amount of rifles

Shit, im stupid.

I've spent a good few hundred hours playing Mirage and honestly, this is a pretty decent rundown, in all the years I've been playing the game all the updates have ended up being ass-backwards, pointless or just cosmetic or items, most of which are useless. I feel like the reason Chad didn't add a rule/lorebook is that he wants to game to feel more professional, and fun fact, the lore in the desc is outdated. The Community is split into alot more groups, you have the LPM suckups, the CRP addicts (Who speed type like a bunch of losers) the 5-year-olds wandering around, the people who don't understand the game, ETC. ETC., Chad's attention has shifted to the Farlands, which is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR fucking worse meaning it's stagnated and died, I'd recommend joining a faction, people there are alot more chill and the RP is actually active and decent, I'd recommend the USCPF, since I've been in it for a long time.

Map, lore, systems, I all like. The playerbase is what made me quit playing, mods as well.

I hate ATF Mirage since a long time now, the events are too hard so i didn't get some events exclusive items like the railgun or the Containment suit and his ABM flamtrower. :'(

Honestly. I don’t really rp that much in mirage anymore but the only reason why I play it is because of the prop placer. I love it since I can build parts of the map by myself and make new forts, otherwise. I don’t rlly like mirage...

My experience with ATF, the map is shit. It's small and empty. It certainly changed since I last played it. When I played it there was a bunch of edgy speed typers with roblohunk and the Don't Wake Me Up face. So, what he's saying about community is kind of false. I recently played it again with a friend of mine, Narrbertsrock (im sure you know him), I never saw any of them. It was peculiar, where were they? But, one thing is that it's infested with FRP. But, most of the edgy speed typers gone to Academy games because I have a lot of friends who play Academy games. If you go there, you'll see all of it. Roblohunk, Noveau George, whatever. I'd recommend you to do a video on those kinds of games, I can guarantee all of them are there. The mystery boxes, I agree with you. It's just pay to win. I kind of respect it, because Chad doesn't like ATF. The last time Chad played Mirage he was speed typed to death. He's focusing most of his resources now on Far Lands. If you go on Far Lands, it's way less toxic. But, they're still characteristics of ATF, cookie-cutter sentences, but Far Lands is generally milder. Because a lot of Kingdom Life players moved there.

IT took 3 trys to make this video, and I ended up adding some points, that's probably why it feels like its all over the place.

FUN POLICE >> it may sound surprising but people will try to enforce lore, since that's what roleplay is all about, not you going apeshit "BRO LET ME JUST DO IT IT'S NOT HURTING ANYONE" CARS >> you should of criticized them for the fact that they were added to the game in the first place since that's when the game's downfall began, it just didn't feel like an apoc game when every second player rp'ed having a car RULES >> blastaway doesn't include most of the rules in the game either lmao? you mostly find out about them through discord and public statements made by staff members >> darkened dawn is trash and it was like that especially in 2020 i'm surprised you brought it up as a good example

Better late than never to respond, I guess. So the reason why I brought up lore enforcement was because it was extremely strict, God forbid you ever wear seal armor near a mod, Its almost imposable to not hear the stories of unfair bans and horrible mods. Another issue is that ATF's lore is so expansive and bloated that first time players typically have no idea what's going. Hell, half the time the community doesn't even understand the lore. I have 400ish hours and I still have no idea what the UCSPF, seals, or SLF even are, because anytime I try to rp as them I get told "Don't do that'. Its not fun to read up on nearly 6 years of lore in order to properly play a game, I don't want to do homework, I want to play the game, It's why I brought up Darkened dawn.
