As I'm the kind of person who would overprepare by equipping my cyclops with extra armor, shielding, fire suppression system, full decoys, and going out of my way to kill the leviathans before traveling with my cyclops, I unfortunately never experienced this epicness

Turn of engine, Wait for it to leave, Then on it, Enable silent running, Once your out of its perimeter, Get out of there, Am pretty sure people go to biomes like these without even preparing, Only foolish people take their cyclops to the lost river or reaper areas without even preparing or getting upgrades.

I just discovered this game two weeks ago, the first time I found a reaper was a scary experience, but kept on playing and when finally built up the Cyclops I felt like “call me Captain Nemo, you beast!” Certainly, what a great game indeed!

Don’t be worried too much of that happening, in this video I purposefully went into the danger zone and I was trying to ram the reaper head on purpose, so don’t worry lol

Ah it’s ok for me at least because the reaper only spawns near the ship and it’s very hard to make him break your cyclops :)

Mistakes made in the production of this video: 6 - Taking the Cyclops to the Crash Zone - Hearing a Reaper, continues driving and making noise - Not using Silent Running, Creature Decoy, or a slower/emergency speed - Reaper shows on the map, continue moving to make it hear you - Not leaving the Crash Zone as soon as the reaper seriously damages the Cyclops - Not going out to repair the hull breaches

This is why you invest in a fire suppression system, more decoy storage, a stronger hull, and when all else fails, a fully charged stasis rifle to shoot the leviathan with and then yeet out of there with your Cyclops like the coward you are.

Ok so i thought the cyclops whould make the reaper less scary then when it attacks the seamoth i was dead wrong

Reaper be like: Cyclops begone, I only needed your prawn suit.

to avoid this ever happening, use silent running in reaper infested areas. id recommend you to get the cyclops shield generator if you want to keep fighting reapers. also keep creature decoy's ready in this type of emergency. I keep atleast 6 (5 unloaded and 1 loaded) in a locker to prevent this from happening

You can actually easily avoid ever going to said areas. There is a certain path you can take into the aurora to never encounter a reaper

I played the entire game without building those decoy. My cyclops never got damaged even when I went to the Giant Cove Tree with it. Stealth rules 😔👌

So You will have to just search around the area until you find holes in the sea floor which lead to the next biomes, which will lead you to areas where you can only feasibly explore with these machines! 👍👍

Fun fact about reapers, they are blind, and their roaring is their form of echolocation. Which means if you hear one, it likely knows where you are.

My cyclops is my mobile base basically, I have atleast 20 decoys on at a time, a "lev kit" which is a bunch of explosive balls, basically filled every inch with something in the sub.

You probably already know this by now but to avoid getting destroyed by leviathan turn off the lights and either rig for silent tuning at minimum speed or shut off the engine until it goes away, a ghost leviathan was right next to me but I was not moving while on silent run and he did nothing

If the fire starts, WHY WOULD YOU GO EMERGENCY SPEED? THE ENGINE PROBABLY WAS WHERE THE FIRE WAS SO THE IDEA OF EMERGENCY SPEED IS STUPID! Although if the Reaper Leviathan attacks, thats why you should have Stasis Rifle.

The Sea moth or Prawn suit also gets destroyed, so if you are in a dire situation it is better to escape through the hangar with your ‘other’ ship than through the human hatch below! :)
