This was so an emotional journey. In the 60s I lived in The Royal Borough and walked everwhere. The mews and the backstreets. The squares and the parks. Visiting friends. Pub lunches, Harrods, Montpelier Street, Kings Rd. So many ghosts. And the bitter sweet smell of London rain. Thankyou.

Never stop filming! After watching this video I felt as if I visited London myself and walked through the rain. I don't have money to travel so your videos are the only travellings I can afford lol. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!💜💜
Thank you for keeping the video BS-free; indeed that is very much appreciated.
walking in the rain is always stunning, especially in London.
I just wanted to watch this to remember what rain is like. It’s very dry here in California.we are having a severe drought, everything is so dry. It’s very refreshing ☔️💦☂️
Just could not LIVE packed in like that! Imagine the noise!
The buldings are beautiful and unique. Streets are clean. The weather is gloomy and peace. I imagine walking through those streets with my beloved one.
This brings back memories of living in Germany, the rainy weather, and narrow streets.
The sound of rain, London city, and a long walk what else we want?
Also, I greatly appreciate the fact you pan the camera around to fully capture the view/building from all angles instead of just straight ahead. So many others don’t! Thank you ❤️
I 've been in Kengsington long ago and I fell in love with London, it"s my ideal city with constant rain and victorian houses. This video brings me very pleasant memories.

15 minutes in and really enjoying it. It's the closest I'll ever get to seeing any part of England. My best friend of ten years was going to take me there to visit his family but he died before we could in 2015. Thinking of you and missing you, James. ❣
Wow, what a beautiful and posh area, stunning architecture too. Nice to see the cherry blossoms sign of Spring. Thanks very much for the walk!

Thank you for these walking tours. Definitely relaxing and takes my mind off of stressful things.
I had a student friend who was staying in Kensington, London. We often went for walks around Kensington/South Kensington, especially around the mews areas, sometimes very late at night, but we were never troubled, it was very peaceful. Our favourite place though that we sometimes visited was Hamptead for that village like atmosphere, its winding streets and the Heath. The rainy weather adds to London's unique atmosphere. It's a nice walk, and certainly brings back memories. I hope you didn't get too wet.

Great atmosphere, London in the rain - and I love the way you show a lot around you.
A real treat! I've always loved the rain: the sounds, the reflections, even the sense of coziness under an umbrella - it energizes me and makes me feel happy. Now that I live in the land of ice and snow, I do miss English rain, early blossoms, and winter hanging baskets outside pubs... and the architecture of course. Cheers and thank you, from Montreal.

Still hoping to travel one day and get to do some walks for myself. I love your format with the captions, many walkers talk as they go but I don't always want that. Wonderful to experience the sounds of the street on its own.
If this footage were shot in Los Angeles, there would be homeless tents and encampments literally everywhere. You would be stepping over them and their refuse. This video reminder of normalcy is instructive for residents of LA, like me, who come across it. Thank you 🙏🏻

Sitting in my 1930's cottage very late at night in Perth, Western Australia, I thoroughly enjoyed you taking me through the back streets of Kensington. I have never been there in person, but I really got the feel of life for those who live there. My favourite little place was Gordon Place near the Elephant and Castle.. I loved the sound of the rain, the cars going by, and the one thing that was missing for me was the sound of your footsteps. You must have been wearing very quiet shoes because I couldnt hear them. I do love to hear the click click of shoes on the street, so next time maybe you have some noisier shoes to wear ? The blossom on the trees was lovely, showing that spring was in the air, and those quiet streets where people had painted their houses in glorious colours of blue, yellow, pink, green etc. I was very surprised that so many streets had no other place to park than the roadside, I guess the car wasnt invented when they were built. The other noticable thing for me was that so many of the properties were still enveloped in black wrought iron from days gone by, very charming indeed !! Thank you so much WW for giving us this tour, I will definitely be watching more of your work in future, you are doing a great job....
