How would making the wheat belt die from heat stress not cause a worldwide food shortage. But to answer your question, so far the evidence is that we wouldn’t be doing enough srm to make crop yields any worse than they would otherwise be anyway. The evidence Actually is that crops would be protected by srm as long as we weren’t doing stupld amounts of it

Firstly we need a study to compare the benefit of additional atmospheric CO2 in terms of worldwide agricultural production against potential adverse climate effects from increased CO2. We might seek to determine an optimum atmospheric CO2 level we want to achieve rather than the status quo. We might demand a cost benefit analysis of CO2 being reduced or increased based on empirical data rather than abstract computer modelling. Secondly, water vapour and clouds are the largest component in determining weather. Understanding cloud formation should be the starting point of all climate science. It is unconscionable that universities have not yet determined how clouds are formed with a reference to cosmic rays and celestial events and cycles..

@@deanfowles3707 Wrong on all counts. Firstly the studies have not been done else I would not have called for them. Second the UN and the US government have acknowledged the improved greening of the planet as CO2 levels rose What BS about food taste less nutritious.

Not the king we would want though you wouldn’t want the oceans green with slimy toxic algae blooms. Look it up it’s a distinct possibility. You also don’t want the Amazon rainforest turning into Savannah. Another thing that probably is gonna happen within a lifetime. Basically stop being an armchair expert, stop being arrogant far beyond your capabilities, humble yourself and learn from people who do this stuff for a living.
