It’s cool knowing that the first 24H of Lemans I watched in full was (by all indications) one of the best in years. Sports car racing is entering a new golden era

Same. I remember being so freaking angry when he messed up. And I spotted Tom talking to Rye during the ceremony after the race and didn't think much of it, I honestly thought he was just congratulating him for second, I didn't realize it was so much more. Between the word of Ant and Tom, I've been left with a way different perspective than before. I'm just heartbroken for Ryu and the team, but he did leave it out on the track, took the necessary risks, and did everything he could out of that moment. Tom knew, saw that, and could speak to it. I think it just makes a world of difference when you hear these words of encouragement come out of someone who knows what it takes to beat Le Mans' mouth.

Brendon Hartley is such a good teammate. Yes the crash was unnecessary, but if Hirakawa didn’t decide to push to the absolute maximum, then they wouldnt even had the chance to win. Huge respect to Hartley that he’s trying to cheer up Hirakawa

One of the best 24h ever, this race was mega. Next year will even be more insane with hypercars. Can’t wait!
This is unbelievably high quality content. There is no motorsport in the world, not even F1, that’s doing anything close to this level of quality. Bravo!
Man and machine - what a spectacle. The camaraderie within and amongst the teams is inspiring. Before the race, everyone seems "normal" and then when the visors come down ...
That was a brilliant Le Mans, it livered up to the hype (pardon the pun), but has to be the best closest racing in decades. I watched most of the race from inside the 51 Ferrari cockpit with their live feed, apart from it landing up in the gravel at the first chicane on the Mulsanne in the night, the car never put a foot wrong, it worked like clockwork, even when it failed to restart on two of the pit stops there was no panic, Pier Guidi was calm as anything in the cockpit in the last pit stop, going through the restart procedures. Fabulous.

Huge shoutout to the Iron Dames, who had been fighting for the lead in the second half and could have been on the podium if it wasn't for a brake issue
I wish this was longer, i would watch even 2 hour version of this doc
This years edition was the perfect representation why the LeMans 24h is the greatest racing spectacle in the entirety of motorsport. All types of motorsport are great but when LeMans delivers that is just glorious It's Driver vs their Machine and the sheer inevitability of time but it's so great when it's put together
We're living in a time where we basically have Group C and Group B back! Long live motorsport!❤
Shame that the Iron Dame's were completely ignored in this film. They were so so so very close to make history and fought so well all race long.

As an Italian and true Ferrari worshipper, I would have liked to comfort Hirakawa. Only respect for whole Toyota crew, they had all the pressure against them and were so close to an historic win. Yes, I agree with Davidson: Toyota probably gained more supporter this year than in the past. They fought until the last second. And it's not over yet.
Ryo and Top-class Tom Kristensen. What a Legend Mr Le Mans !!!!
This was another brilliant episode! Loved the bit with Christensen and Ryo, so much humanity, humility and respect. Top job from the filming crew, best motorsport documentary out there. But now, how about an FA special about Fabio's race with a broken foot and Corvette's rise to win from multiple laps behind? Maybe a 10-15 min extra video with these 2 extraordinary stories from the Centenary Race?
Good Video - Interesting briefing from Eduwardo Freitas - his little conversation with Seb. Beumi was interesting - you could see Buemi has respect for him.

The conversation between Duval and his kids were so cute
36:20 Editors captured this scene so well. The tense music. The writing on the left. Everyone's paniced faces. The clock ticking while showing us the toyota zooming past the track with insane speed. Ferrari engineers biting their nails . Gap is closing and then the power is back. Everyone in the ferrari paddock cheers while the toyota gr have their hopes crushed.
Even at 43 minutes it felt short 😂 What a race!
This is Le Mans as we all want to see it. The accidents at the beginning of the slow zones where dangerously unacceptable tough..
Yeah, this video needs more exposure. Fascinating insight into one of the most iconic races of the year. I never watch it live and generally tend to catch the highlights, but this masterpiece ... this is just being spoilt. A nod from me for the solid subtitling and subheading. Underrated attention to detail continued throughout the piece which really helped me keep in touch with exactly what was going on.
Great job editing team. Ur contributions are acknowledged and will help the power grow tremendously
This is what I expected Drive To Survive to be when it released a few years ago. Thanks for sticking to the true soul and story of this amazing sport/event!
28:42 is the best moment in this whole video.
Much respect to Hirakawa. He fought hard and it could have happened to any of them. Legendary installment of this legendary race
Finally delivered. Absolutely fantastic film making this time
could argue that it deserved to be longer than 43 minutes, not saying you were right or wrong to leave things out of the final edit that's the way things go, 186 drivers in 62 cars sure every single one of them had a story to tell but not everyone of those stories were meant to be told here though

I strongly suspect there is data that shows that any video over 45 minutes on KZread causes a reaction among viewers to not click and open. I know that I have seen videos on other subjects that are over an hour and it instantly causes me to think twice about devoting that much time to any subject. I think WEC does the best they can.

Great video! Great race! Great action
AMAZING !
I like how the event was so big it took them almost double the normal time to cut it together. I'm totally for it. Such an insane event they can take as long as they need to get these highlights out. And this race will probably have plenty of other perspectives cut together for a while to come. An epic race.
Fantastic watch - the cockpit footage of some of the hypercar action was breathtaking. First Le Mans I've watched live and just finished the replay a few days ago. Exciting times for WEC!

thanks for the behind the scenes edit, super race, see you next year!
Again thank you for posting to KZread otherwise I'd never get to watch the race. Great camera and story.
What an ephic race. Finally able to see top class cars very close each other. There was so much happening to Hypercars that lmp2 and GTE lost TV coverage. Anyway a director can transform this race edition in a movie whitout adding any artificial drama.

So, I'll admit I was hyped for this years Le Mans but I wasn't as hype for it as previous years. My mom ALWAYS knew I was hype for Le Mans and it was my favorite race of the entire year she'd never watch all of it with me but she'd watch some of it she knew Audi or Toyota would win in years past and she only had to watch 4 hours of the race. 😂 Unfortunately she passed away the week of Christmas so personally Le Mans hit different this year and I wasn't as hyped for it on top of what else has been going on in my personal life. HOWEVER, I still enjoyed the race it was incredible lots of great action throughout I just wish I could've been more invested in it. Next year will be different and I'm looking forward to it. ❤
I watched as much of the race live as I was humanly able. But this recap captured absolutely everything. Excellent editing!
Let’s be honest… which team will Max be racing for once he finally joins WEC? Ferrari my god I loved their journey, Cadillac can be proud, Toyota are fighters till the end, Peugeot never gave up, Porsche was classic prestige!! We’re in for a crazy next 5-10 years in this sport I love it!!!

A great race, but also a great video you made for us here! Please more of that! :)
Very emotional all moment of this race.
Got to say it again, BOP in hypercar must have been almost spot on - so many makes lead, and the winner was the car with fewest mistakes and problems.
100% worth the wait, it was brillant though it wouldve been great to see some more teams discussing tyre strategy and pitting when it started raining as it was a high drama point
this needs more views... such an amzing content

Amazing coverage of a glorious race! The only thing I wish they'd covered was Fabio Scherer's heroic drive to the win in LMP2 with a broken foot that was so bad he had to hop to the car every driver change. Of course he was in tears in victory lane after parking the car. Again, an amazing race and such amazing stories behind it.
Fabio Scherer, driving for an underdog team, so very young, with a broken foot, and yet delivered to become a Le Mans winner! Just incredible, I can understand the flow of emotions, so proud of him! A new motorsport hero, for sure.

I reckon this series of features is the best motor-racing series ever. However, please get rid of the fixed sub-titles and go of CC that can be switched off.
I see so many people say that WEC is boring and that they need to just run 3 separate races instead of doing all three classes at once. That'd ruin the excitement though. there's never a dull moment in the WEC BECAUSE of the three classes battling jt out at all times, whether it be 6 hours or 24 hours. There might be downtime, but that's typically filled in with balls-to-the-wall laps that showcase just how intense these races are. As Louise Beckett said, there's highs and lows to these races, especially Le Mans. But it's never quite boring if you just look beyond Hypercar.
#51's night spin in the gravel moment was oddly left out, but forza ferrari, what an insane race it was
