Tried the service and adding my two cents. The buyback program requires you to pay for the shipping. So your return is $7 - shipping cost. As a result, it’s impossible for me (Cal resident) to ship anything back to them and even break even. Despite consistently shipping the puzzle back first thing the next morning, I had 13-17 days per puzzle. This is due to slow shipping, and puzzles received on the weekend not being shipped until Tuesday. Their customer service was fast and nice, but the math just doesn’t work out here. Maybe if you do 1000 piece puzzles quickly. But for 300-500 piece puzzles, you’ll spend less money if you wait for them to go on sale.

Thank you for the detailed review! I was very curious about turnaround time and cleanliness as I have two younger kids. I was interested in the 200-300 piece option, but I think for right now, it just doesn’t seem to fit for our family because it would be a hassle to get them to the post office to return. I really appreciate getting all the info and your opinion in this video!

I thrift nearly all of my puzzles. One of them had a cigarette smoke smell. I fixed it by putting all of the pieces into a larger mesh lingerie laundry bag and hanging it outside in the fresh air. I shuffled the pieces a bit, and a few days later, the scent was GONE (!!) and I solved a delightful puzzle that I cherished. 😃

That's a great idea!! Just wouldn't want to spend the little time I have with the rented puzzles waiting for the smell to go away.

Random but I can't stop looking at the mirror behind you. So adorable, you look like a cartoon with your cats like from a Miyazaki movie. Cute is justice I say.

Thank you for sharing your experience with this puzzle subscription service. Your video was most interesting because I had never heard of this service and because you thoroughly discussed the pros and cons you have experienced thus far. After discovering how this service works, I've decided it definitely is not for me. I will continue to buy new puzzles, keep the ones I love, and donate the others.

I plan on having a Garage sale come warmer weather to sell my puzzles ..

Just discovered your channel and this is a very interesting video....I wonder if I can find a puzzle rental over in the UK it's a good concept.

It is a good idea if someone doesn't have a lot of options to buy puzzles, or just likes subscriptions. I don't think it's really worth it for me now that I've had it for a couple months.

I wish they had the option to keep the puzzle if you love it haha 😅 that would be cool and if they can fix their turn around then i would be sold 😁 thanks for the info emilee ❤️

Thank you for the detailed review and love your videos as usual! I'm not weary of doing used puzzles, I never redo my puzzles, and yet I would still never get this subscription because I feel like it's not worth it cost wise. These puzzles are used, so the $90 you mentioned to buy them really should be less. Then if you sold them after buying (new or used) and doing them, you'd get a huge chunk of it back :) this is just speaking from my own experience where I mostly buy used and sell them afterwards. Of course it's a lot of effort to do that, but just wanted to point out the $60 you mentioned saving is a little too generous.

True, they are used, but I would never be able to purchase them used near me and the ones I've seen used online cost just as much when you add the cost of shipping. Which is why I gave the full price. Again, I don't sell puzzles so it wouldn't be money I wouldn't get back.

I'm curious, now that it's been a few months, have you continued your subscription?

No I did not. I just have too many puzzles on my to do list and felt that I would have the puzzles at my house for long periods of time, so wasnt getting the full benefit from itm

Have you tried any other rental services? It may actually be good for me as I'm disabled and don't drive, so buying and donating/selling are hard.
