    Great variety in your recently redones! I love the owl and Harry Potter puzzles. And that wormhole puzzle needed to be hung on the wall - it's a landmark in your puzzling career! I have a set from Cobble Hill that I redo regularly - the series is called The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, based on a book by that title. The artwork is Edwardian watercolour and there are 4 puzzles in the series, one for each season. My younger daughter (the only other puzzler in my family) gave me these for birthdays and Christmas over two years, and we do them together, each season.

    I just started puzzling recently, and only have done two puzzles. I started with a low quality 500 pieces puzzle, that has the image of a tourist landmark in my city. And I almost quit. Then I went all in with a 1,000 pieces (Hercule Poirot World from Lawrence King). And at the beginning I was worried I wasn't going to finish it. 😅 And like two weeks ago I bought on Amazon two more 1,000 pieces puzzles 🤦🏽‍♀️. Which I haven't started. I think I want to go back and start doing smaller count puzzles to get more practice and feel less stressed. So I've been enjoying your smaller count puzzles videos. Like one of the previous ones about the battle of the 300 pieces puzzles. Do you have a video recommending puzzles for beginners, intermediate and advance puzzlers? If not, would it be a good idea to do one? 😬😅😆

    That's a great idea. I normally just suggest them as I go but what a great video concept!! One of my best recommendations for a 1000 piece for beginners is Amsterdam Weekend by Antelope. Very easy to see the different buildings and not too chaotic. amzn.to/3XMOVXK

    I’ve done East of the Sun and West of the Moon; I got it because I fell in love with the cover image. Then I fell in love with actually doing the puzzle! Sadly, I donated it (I meant sadly because I don’t have it anymore, not because I donated it!), but it took me several weeks of mental debating it with myself; that’s how much I loved it!

    Thank you for sharing ❤. Honestly I think I’ve only ever done one puzzle twice and that was because I did it with two different people🙂. My husband and I have acquired quite the puzzle collection over the last year and some puzzles we will have a harder time parting with so as we do them they go on a keep shelve where we might do them again. But for now we have too many on the not done shelf to do😁. We are working on our first 2000 piece that has a harder image that is getting the best of us right now😳🙃

    Hi! Emilee! Just subscribed to your channel. I love doing artists puzzles. 3-500 pieces matte if possible. I have a question: what is the puzzle that sits on your shelf under the citrus puzzle that has a lot of peachy colors and has houses or a village. I would love that one but do not know the brand. It kinda looks like a Village brand. Would you mind giving the brand name ????

    This is the first video of yours that I watched and you are a beautiful speaker. Thank you for using the correct word "lie" when describing how the pieces configure themselves when put together on a flat surface. What struck me at the beginning of the video is you sharing you have RA. I'm so sorry about that. I've learned recently here on KZread that RA is an inflammation disease. I learned there's an inflammation reducing diet that helps with the pain. I encourage you to search for it. #phd

    Are there different terms for two-in-two-out puzzle pieces versus pieces like the Ravensburger and Buffalo pieces? People seem to be using 'ribbon cut' for both types of pieces. This would be useful information, especially for new brands. I just don't enjoy two-in-two-out shape pieces for 1,000-piece puzzles. I loved the video and the great variety of brands and images.

  • @thecasualpuzzler
    @thecasualpuzzler4 күн бұрын

    I use ribbon cut as to say all the pieces are in a straight line. It was cut on a grid so all the piece sizes are the same even though there are different shapes. two/two are just the style of piece shape but can also be ribbon cut. At least that's what I've gathered.
