Do you like to puzzle? Love to Puzzle?? Dream about puzzling and often miss out on special events because you'd rather be at home putting in "one more piece?" If you answered yes to any of these, you will love my channel! I wanted to create a place where I can share my love for puzzles. My goal is upload a new videos every week. Enjoyed the challenge idea! Will try it over a few weeks when summer slows down. 🙂 Nice music choices too. 🎶 Little critters are always a fun addition, cats or surprise bunnies, haha. 😄
Awesome! Thank you!
Needlework station in 500 is one of the most fun puzzles ever. I loved it so much I had to hunt down the 1000. I finally found it but have yet to do it. 🧩💚
Both were so fun!
I have a puzzle from MasterPieces that is 400 pieces, I think the line is Family Hour, and it has small, medium, and large pieces, just like the cobble hill puzzle!
I redo my Christmas puzzles. I'll add a new one (or 4) and pass on those I didn't love. All of the ones I have now I love! I start working through them in November .
I think it would be interesting to see which puzzles are the oldest in your collection, not just the oldest on your to do list :)
This was such an interesting video! I think the only puzzle I haven't redone is my first 2,000 piece, cuz I never wanted to break it, lol
I’m working on doing some of my 1000 pieces again
I love your puzzles
I’m going to get the cocktail one
I that cocktail puzzle
I enjoyed the video
Great variety in your recently redones! I love the owl and Harry Potter puzzles. And that wormhole puzzle needed to be hung on the wall - it's a landmark in your puzzling career! I have a set from Cobble Hill that I redo regularly - the series is called The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, based on a book by that title. The artwork is Edwardian watercolour and there are 4 puzzles in the series, one for each season. My younger daughter (the only other puzzler in my family) gave me these for birthdays and Christmas over two years, and we do them together, each season.
I’ve seen those puzzles around and think they look so pretty!
As i as watching this it occured to me that I have only ever redone my 300 and 500 piece puzzles . . . interesting. I love the night owl one. I was going to say you missed Santorini Sunset but then reread the title of the video "recently redone puzzles" 😃
Yeah it’s been a few months since I’ve taken that one out!
Ordinary Habit puzzles are awesome! Worth the investment. The boxes are magnetic, comes with drawstring bag, pieces are velvety, and lock into place. Mother - Daughter owners who give back. Highly recommend!
I have done the blanc 300 rainbow hamburger Puzzle it was super fun. I love the plasticky feel of the pieces. I have also done my wooden ravensburger puzzles a few times each is they are very fun and expensive so I have to get my moneys worth.
The sewing table one is so good!!
Awesome!
I have never done a puzzle twice. So many in my stash to do for the first time. Totally get redoing smaller piece count puzzles. I love all the puzzles you featured!
So many good puzzles out there!
I just started puzzling recently, and only have done two puzzles. I started with a low quality 500 pieces puzzle, that has the image of a tourist landmark in my city. And I almost quit. Then I went all in with a 1,000 pieces (Hercule Poirot World from Lawrence King). And at the beginning I was worried I wasn't going to finish it. 😅 And like two weeks ago I bought on Amazon two more 1,000 pieces puzzles 🤦🏽♀️. Which I haven't started. I think I want to go back and start doing smaller count puzzles to get more practice and feel less stressed. So I've been enjoying your smaller count puzzles videos. Like one of the previous ones about the battle of the 300 pieces puzzles. Do you have a video recommending puzzles for beginners, intermediate and advance puzzlers? If not, would it be a good idea to do one? 😬😅😆
I put the "Night Owl Hoot" on my wishlist. 😊
That's a great idea. I normally just suggest them as I go but what a great video concept!! One of my best recommendations for a 1000 piece for beginners is Amsterdam Weekend by Antelope. Very easy to see the different buildings and not too chaotic. amzn.to/3XMOVXK
@thecasualpuzzler Ha! I think I saw your video where you mentioned the Amsterdam one, and had already added it to my wishlist. 😆
I’ve done East of the Sun and West of the Moon; I got it because I fell in love with the cover image. Then I fell in love with actually doing the puzzle! Sadly, I donated it (I meant sadly because I don’t have it anymore, not because I donated it!), but it took me several weeks of mental debating it with myself; that’s how much I loved it!
It would be hard for me to donate it. i've done it at least once a year since I got it.
I have done all of my puzzles more than once
Nice!!
Thank you for sharing ❤. Honestly I think I’ve only ever done one puzzle twice and that was because I did it with two different people🙂. My husband and I have acquired quite the puzzle collection over the last year and some puzzles we will have a harder time parting with so as we do them they go on a keep shelve where we might do them again. But for now we have too many on the not done shelf to do😁. We are working on our first 2000 piece that has a harder image that is getting the best of us right now😳🙃
There are so many puzzles on my shelves I haven't done it's hard to avoid them to do something I've done a second time.
I have night owl hoot and I love it, so pretty 😊
It's so fun!
Loved the vintage puzzle with all its weird pieces. I didn't realize puzzles change over time but it makes sense. Guess I just never thought about it.
It was fun to do something different!
Hi Emilee! Thank you for the mention :) Yes, your link will work on all of our puzzles (10%). Enjoy Color Therapy!
Oh yay!!
Hi! Emilee! Just subscribed to your channel. I love doing artists puzzles. 3-500 pieces matte if possible. I have a question: what is the puzzle that sits on your shelf under the citrus puzzle that has a lot of peachy colors and has houses or a village. I would love that one but do not know the brand. It kinda looks like a Village brand. Would you mind giving the brand name ????
I'm not sure which puzzle you are referring to..was it in this video?
@@thecasualpuzzler Hi Emilee! I was watching the January’s Puzzle roundup and the puzzle I am referring to is on your shelf directly behind your right shoulder and below the citrus puzzle off to your right as you are as we are watching you! It is mallet in size than your citrus puzzle also your citrus one has a little picture in front of it. Thank you. Love your content and personality 🥰
Sorry ! It is smaller in size
Such a fun video!!
Thank you!
I like your videos so far but the other I saw so far said you are not someone that re does puzzles so I could relate to that this one says different
My 300 piece puzzles are my only exception. My 500-1000 pieces I VERY seldom do more than once and often pass along to someone’s else.
This is the first video of yours that I watched and you are a beautiful speaker. Thank you for using the correct word "lie" when describing how the pieces configure themselves when put together on a flat surface. What struck me at the beginning of the video is you sharing you have RA. I'm so sorry about that. I've learned recently here on KZread that RA is an inflammation disease. I learned there's an inflammation reducing diet that helps with the pain. I encourage you to search for it. #phd
Thanks so much for watching! I do go to a dietician but it’s much more complicated than just changing my diet as it’s an autoimmune disease.
@@thecasualpuzzler Oh! Thank you for correcting me. I wish you well and hope that you find permanent relief. #phd Dr. Ken Berry
Hope you do a video about the "Colors on Colors" puzzle. For me, the loose puzzle pieces in the image were super helpful to completing this one. I set a new personal speed record for completing a 1000 piece puzzle with this one.
It's going to be in an upcoming vlog!! I already did it and LOVED it!
I love doing 300 piece counts once in a while. Makes me feel accomplished! 😆
OMG @ 29 cents for guild Picture puzzle! 🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨
I love doing the smaller piece counts. It feels way less overwhelming. Great video and good information! Want to look into the blanc line for sure.
Glad it was helpful!
Are there different terms for two-in-two-out puzzle pieces versus pieces like the Ravensburger and Buffalo pieces? People seem to be using 'ribbon cut' for both types of pieces. This would be useful information, especially for new brands. I just don't enjoy two-in-two-out shape pieces for 1,000-piece puzzles. I loved the video and the great variety of brands and images.
I use ribbon cut as to say all the pieces are in a straight line. It was cut on a grid so all the piece sizes are the same even though there are different shapes. two/two are just the style of piece shape but can also be ribbon cut. At least that's what I've gathered.
I do have a lot of 1000 piece puzzles, but I do like doing smaller piece count puzzles; mainly as a stress relief. I really like the puzzle with the owls. It’s so cute! I need to get that one next week. Great video
Thanks for sharing!
This is very helpful. I do not like the ribbon cut puzzles. I love Ravensburger, Springbok and also the family style puzzles with areas of larger pieces.
Great video! Nice to hear that the Bits N Pieces multi pack are still a good quality. I've done a white mountain multi pack and while I love white mountain, I did NOT enjoy their multi pack! It's as if they send them all to the same manufacturer for printing/cutting. I enjoy a good 300pc puzzle so this was an interesting video for me
Yes! I was glad to see it was still a good puzzle!
I do enjoy your channel, your content and your personality.....I also do a lot of 300-500 piece count .... and enjoy Ravensburger , the Owl image was gorgeous... lots of great images and good brands...... this was a good video for beginners and experienced puzzlers... sharing different brands... I enjoyed your interview you did with artist.... you didn't talk quite as fast.... I have to slow the speed down for every video.... I still haven't caught the name of the smaller Ravensburger line..... I will google it.... thanks for sharing the info.......
I've always been a fast talker and actually watch KZread on 2x speed. The Puzzle Moments line from Amazon I have linked in the description box.
I'm glad you liked our summer gnome puzzle! :)
I love it!
Great video. We have lots of 300 piece puzzles. My husband prefers them and I like them for a break after a really hard puzzle.
That is awesome!
That was really interesting, thanks 😊
Glad you liked it!
Love that Ravensburger owl image.
So fun!
300 piece puzzles are great!! Like a quick snack!!!
Totally!
