A professional Groom's daily horse grooming routine!
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
My daily horse grooming routine. I take vital signs, check legs and digital pulses, inspect every inch of my horse. Then I get down to cleaning hooves, curry combing with my favorite grooming gloves, then brushing, dealing with the mane and tail and ears and nose.

Thank you!
Very good video
I have a mare that's 25 with a thick tail. She's also a little sunken in rectum area. I use warm rag to wipe poop off daily and also clean between udders. Many mares accumulate a lot of crud quickly between udders! The crud is one of the main reasons they start tail rubbing.
Things have changed with tails for sure! I groomed at a jumper/event barn back in the late 80s and would've been fired if I brushed tails daily! Finger detangling daily, wash and deep condition weekly with careful comb out. Exceptions were horse shows or day of sale prep
Awesome for the share thank you! You should ALWAYS check your performance horses before and after. We do jumping and race horses and are extremely careful.
Wow that was thoroughly done great job good tips...
Hi from australia great video
I have a grey as well .. .he's got a melanoma on top of his - no worries .. it hasn't changed in years . I check him frequently in the winter - I live where it's a cold climate in the winter - and most horses have winter blankets. I'll take off his blanket and check him over closely for any new lumps and bumps that may develop. Greys are highly prone to melanomas. Wondering if your guy has any?
I just came across your channel and already I love it just from your trailer. I'm excited to watch some of your videos to learn because I recently resumed my horseback riding 1 year ago, and I'm afraid I don't have much knowledge other then basic grooming, tack up and riding. Wow, long sentence, haha sorry. I'm Katherine! Subscriber #704!

I use them on every square inch of my horse. Of course your horse will tell you if he likes it or not, and you can vary how much pressure you use.
What do you do if your horse always scratches his mane and gets hurt quite a lot? I want it to stop. I want to give him a shot but if there's other ways... I'd much rather

Definitely talk to your Vet!
Do you also do this process after riding?

Sometimes - I will always check legs and hooves, and groom a little bit as well as keep track of vital signs, especially if I'm tracking fitness. If sweat needs to be dried and cleaned, then I'll do that.
How to get job of groomer ??
