Sample Logic makes cool stuff. I have Morphestra 2 for years now, and still haven't explored it all. Hope to pick this up at the discounted price years from now, since they are quite a lot of money.

Yes. It’s actually first thing I got to test and I know I’m only scratching the surface. This can make lots of great sounds for many purposes for sure. And yes these are quite pricey but well it least it’s not a subscription model 😅🤘😎

Hi. The manual says it works with AU units so it should work. Just maybe double check with the guys from Sample Logic to confirm before buying ;)

Hi, what about controls ? Without Kontakt you don't have the Automation section to assign CC to the knobs, so, how do you control the Ultrasphere running into NI Maschine for example ? Is it provided with MIDI Learn on its controls ? I hope yes. Without using the mouse, did you assign some controls to your Arturia MiniLab MKII Inverted Limited Edition knobs ? I asked SL for the Ultrasphere manual but they told me that it comes with the purchase ....uhmmmm not so good. Thanks

Hi. Yes it has a panel where you can assign some knobs to MIDI within the vst (I’ll check later what exactly and let you know how many). Using Ableton you can also configure most of the knobs to be automation enabled and you can MIDI map these too to your keyboard. I couldn’t only „configure” the x/y pad in Ableton, yet I could map it to MIDI knob inside the plugin. There would be a workaround possibly to automate MIDI instructions that move the X/Y pad. I’ll do some tests later today. 🤘😎

Yes, I know that in Ableton is simple to configure the controls an then to assign them to the controller knobs..Not so simple in Maschine even if you can use the MIDI Learn ..For example D16 Group last releases (Nepheton 2, Drumazon 2 and Phoscyon 2) have a function such as "enable host automation" that can gradually assign the VST knobs to the Maschine controller knobs that are unassigned. I think that HW controls are very important to tweak a VST like Ultrasphere.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply, had a lot on my head. Just checked the Manual and tested it! The Midi mapping is there and it is working super nice and easy. You simply right click mouse on any given parameter and you get 2 options : Learn MIDI CC, or Assign MIDI CC (and a huge list). So yes it is working as should.
