If you’ve been wondering why there wasn’t any videos on my channel for the past few weeks, it’s because I’ve spent those weeks creating a music video of my own, the first I’ve made since my first tribute to The Backyardigans a year ago. I’ve been inspired to recreate a great music video set to a fantastic song from 2005 titled “Lonely” by Akon. This video is a close-to-accurate remake of the song’s own music video, but with a few twists. While the song talks about a breakup, the scenario featured in this video has been changed to a guy discovering how distant he’s been from his sister lately and tries to gain the urge to reconcile. And this video also includes clips from an extremely amazing animated show called Bluey, a show I only started checking out four months ago in April, and I’ve become a pretty new fan. The majority of Bluey clips shown in this video focus on the episode “Butterflies”, which showed Bluey attempting to reconcile with her little sister Bingo after leaving her behind during a game with a friend. I couldn’t help but think of this song while thinking about this episode, and it served as the catalyst for this music video being created.
