Beautiful and well kept. It saddens me when I see old cemeteries and mausoleums that are not kept up--people using them as landfills, leaking mausoleums, people breaking into the caskets, bones scattered on the ground, etc.
As a funeral director, this is absolutely stunning.
That stained glass is breathtaking, I can’t imagine the amount of work that went into creating all of that beauty

A man in town owns a kool junk store and in his back workshop he does unbelievable stain glass work. You can look through the big office windows and watch him work. What an artist ! His lighthouses and the water scenes and other pictures are all one of a kind.

According to the spirits in this video, the person who designed it was Frank Lloyd Wright in Queens. I had absolutely no idea he designed it. Note, this may not be correct, but that was what the spirit said: 3:18 "I don't know his name." 3:24 "Frank Wright LLoyd" 4:29 "Incredible Frank LLoyd Wright!"

Las hermosas vidrieras creo que son "Modern Style" también llamado en Francés "Art Nouveau" y en España (Europa) Modernismo. He visto en Barcelona hermosas vidrieras modernistas. Uno de los artistas modernistas más famosos fue Antoni Gaudí: miren en Wikipedia. Creo que mis comentarios en KZread se traducen automáticamente al Inglés: les ruego confirmación.
Amazing. I own a quad crypt in the main mausoleum (my mother, 1993 and sister, 1994 are interred there already), Unit 7, and have walked around the older part, many times. A friend is interred in the old part...but I never paid attention to those doors, or knew anything about those sections. Thank you.

You're a fortunate man to be able to have your final resting place there, along with your family. My plot is in the middle of nowhere but at least it's surrounded by my family lol

Does that make you the crypt keeper?
This has got to be one of the most incredible places I have ever seen!! Those stained glass ceilings are breathtaking.
Wow, Ive never seen such cool and expansive stained glass in my life. The total roof covered is simply amazing! Nice find!
The staines glass is absolutely amazing. Great to see the building in pristine condition.
Never seen one as beautiful as this. I hope it stays this way.
According to an article, the rate of cremation in 1972 in the US was only 5%. I’m amazed to see so many cremated remains in one place, given how old some of the dates are on the niches. I have worked in the funeral home industry for 13 years and the option for cremation now is stunning.

It is…
Has a gothic feel to the first part, and the stained glass superb. I've never seen so much in one section. Great find 👍
What a beautiful place! Stained glass is magnificent! I can see why they keep them locked. Old urns are fascinating Thanks so much
That must be breathtaking to see in person. I do not see places like this as sad or spooky. It’s nice to see that these souls are being remembered for a few moments. Also there are flowers on some of the niches and crypts. These places are filled with history.
Don't know what brought me to your site but I have never seen the pride and respect this place has for the individuals who have passed. The upkeep of this place is to be commended. The dates on some of these crypts are old and are very much a part of history. Judging how beautiful this place is its probably only reserved for the wealthy. Can't imagine what the cost is to maintain this beautiful place. Thanks for sharing. It is nice to know there are places that still exist that respect the dead. We have some property that has a civil war small cemetery located deep in the woods. It has a historical marker that is placed at the entrance. There are 18 confederate solders buried there and two families. The state keeps it Maintained and puts flags on each grave every year. We also place flowers on each grave during certain times of the year. I have done research and found the backgrounds on 11 of the soldiers and the two families. The two families were killed during the fighting and are buried right beside two of the soldiers with the last name. Not far from the cemetery I found the old home place by research historical records at the courthouse. Really interesting how people lived back then and what the did for a living.

That place that you have over there sounds awesome. Yeah sometimes on KZread if you’re watching certain videos of a certain subject you end up on a completely different subject after a while from suggested videos. Thanks for stopping by you’re always welcome here. 👍
This is absolutely breathtaking… I love places like this, and to think someone created this as a tribute to the dead and perhaps solace for the living is humbling.
Breath taking mausoleum. Looks well maintained.

I love Cypress Lawn and Hills of Eternity :) I spent 4 days strolling the cemeteries and mausoleums in 2008. I was lucky to have the place all to myself... along with caretakers. HUGE HUGZ!!! Enchanting!!!

From the moment you stepped inside, this place does NOT disappoint! Stunning ceiling - what a window into the past - G-d rest all these souls. What a dazzling place to rest or to visit departed family members. So nice to see a place in such good shape . I'd love to hear the stories of some of those interred here.
This is the most AMAZING and peaceful place i've ever seen on any video ...This a a beautiful place to be laid to rest! Thanks for the video prayers
❤️Wow the stained glass is so beautiful, we don't really have mausoleums here in England but have volts for royalty, awesome video ❤️

We really do. Many churches describe them as crypts.
@15:18 Captain George Wallace was a hugely respected gentleman of his time. When he passed the ordered flags flown at half mast at the Merchant Exchange, Meigs Warf, and Marine Chamber of Commerce. He was a pioneer resident of Redwood City. He was a bar pilot (a pilot who navigates a ship from a pilot station over a bar and often into the harbor or to the docks). Very cool!
My grandma used to bring me and my sister + the kids from the neighborhood here to Cypress Lawn to feed the birds near the ponds on El Camino. I never knew you could gain entry to any of these areas....wow

i would die to be there!
wow that place is beautiful, that stained glass is incredible , thank you for sharing and thanks to cypress lawn for allowing and maintaining such a beautiful resting place
Fascinating! nicely kept place, amazing stained glass, just stunning. So glad to see one of these places where the deceased are treated with respect.
New subby from New Zealand 🇳🇿 thank you for the beautiful vid. Something so calming yet eerily beautiful about this place. Stained glass always has that effect I feel. All the best 😊
What an absolutely amazing final resting place, just WOW! Seeing the dates on these niches always makes me think that these people were born and lived long lives and then died……40-90 years before I was even born and then I think of my own mortality and imagine a young person who won’t be born for 75 years coming to video my final resting spot.
A beautiful place of rest. Thank you for the tour, I've never seen a columbarium before.🌹💐
I would hate to be on the top row. It would be hard to visit that person. The ceiling in this place is AMAZING. This was a good find.
Thanks for the walkthrough, extremely beautiful place and I see why they want limited access, it's a place of solitude and respect, thanks for posting enjoyed it very much!

Absolutely the most amazing place that I have seen
Great video. We don't really go in for morsolleum or column burials in the UK. You'd love it over here we have some really old graveyards.

Great video. I can see why they keep it locked. All those urns behind glass. In LA there would be people who would break the glass and take the urns...and for no good reason!
